Does anyone have any ideas, I've been thinking what to get the kids, and started to think about this, last year there was Tickle me elmo, I just don't have a clue for this year.

hi , for preschoolers i think anything re, in the night garden in particular iggle piggle. for older kids and adults there is a new xbox elite system - some good deals on these at the moment including the hot new game halo 3. my eight year old is getting a toy laptop and the new girl tech digi makeover. worth mentioning that digi makeover is 60 quid in argos but only 35 in costco !!:rotfl:"that grady! won't sit next to a black child in church! but eats eggs, shoot right out a chickens !!!!!!" from fried green tomatoes:rotfl::smileyheaMSE is where my friends live :smileyhea0

My kids think christmas has come early .
Their Nan gave them some money for their holiday and they both got an R4 for the nintendo DS.

It doesn't look much ..and I can't say too much about it otherwise my post will be deleted ...But it works very well and the kids are having hours of fun.0 -
Think in the night garden is the 1 for toddlers and their parents!
Older kids, mine are 12 & 13, girls ,want a laptop must be pink!
But agree with other posters that High school musical and xbox elite is a good bet too. Then there's dvd's of hp, mr beans holiday and now 68 cd ,just going on what my dd's have been begging for !xXx-Sukysue-xXx0 -

Interesting!
Tickle me Elmo was not a big seller last year actually. A lot of people started buying them up early thinking they would be making a bit profit on Ebay - thanks to someone here suggesting that they might be big. But if I remember rightly, most were lucky to actually get back what they paid in the end.
I don't think that there was one single big seller last Christmas.
My own prediction for this year is the humble Rubiks cube - it has reappeared in shops and could be a good retro buy for 30+ year olds and a 'new' challenge to kids/teenagers. It seems to be around £9.99 in most places.0
