WM run, kitchen sides wiped and floor swept before going out for a [STRIKE]challenging[/STRIKE] busy day. Came home, cooked dinner, and seemed to run on repeat....kitchen sides wiped, floor swept, washing sorted. Not sure how that happened, as I could have sworn that I was winning at some point.

DW now running. DH packing to go away for work. Shopping list written for the morning. Oh yes, LR dusted, but vacuum cleaner will have to wait until the morning for its outing around the downstairs. List as long as your arm for the morning. Including phone calls which I hate.

Dizzy - I hope you are ok. ((Hugs)).

Busy morning, running around doing errands. Needed new trousers for DD so popped into MrS as also wanted pear cider for DH and it's the only place to get it round us. But MrS was restocking the clothes and had virtually empty shelves. So went to MrT, but they had naf all in her size. Ended up in town at Motherc@re. Also decluttered a physio appointment, signing class for DD, sent meter readings to new energy company.

Could do with a bit of rain here as I've had to water all borders at the front and pots at the back. Also staked up some floppy tulips and tied the alliums further up. Inside I restuck wallpaper that had been peeled courtesy of DD little friend, dusted and hoovered downstairs, and steam mopped the kitchen floor.

Extra special hugs sent to Mumof2 and Dizzy. I'm sure you probably have, but have you tried the local freecycle groups and/or charity shops Pigpen?

    Morning all :)

Bright sunshine here already :j I have a load in the WM which I will peg out before school run, and have unloaded DW.

Two hours paid stuff this morning, then need to pop to Aldi and also drop a bag of random bits off at the CS. Then home for 12.30 (hopefully!) to catch up on jobs.

Hope things are looking up for Dizzy and Pigpen today x

Started the day by oversleeping 1/2 hour . DH had gone to work at 4am, and I woke up just in time to shout at DD to get up for school! Made up for it since then I think...
Took DD to school so that I could get the food shopping done on the way back. I also managed to get to the market for fruit and veg which I hardly ever do. 2 loads of washing done and hung out. Kitchen floor mopped from Monday's list. While I had the mop to hand, I also did the utility room, bathroom and downstairs loo, which meant a quick s&s first. Vacced the living room and dining room while waiting for floors to dry, then it was the turn of the hall and landing. Washed my hair which is my most hated job ever, dried it, which meant the bedroom floor then looked a state. So in I went with the vacuum cleaner
Having decided that I had put off some phone calls for long enough, I did those, paid a bill, and wrote a report for tonight's volunteering. I have, however, left a couple of frogs happily turning into toads in the corner.
I think I ought to oversleep more often :rotfl:

Hankie wash done - 31 of the little blighters! :D Including the 28 I washed the other day and didn't bother ironing (waste of time - we just used them unironed). I shan't iron them again this time, as we're still going through them like nobody's business.

Decluttered an alarming amount of muck off my lungs (sorry if TMI).

Cleaned windows in bedroom and spare room - good old white vinegar. ;)

Got some toms cheap on the market yesterday, so will make tomato soup for tonight's dins; we shall have HM bread with it; hopefully it'll do us both some good. :o

    That's it... I'm done in..

OH has a job.. kind of.. starts Monday doing some mind numbing drivel but.. I guess it is money coming in.. however... he had 20% of the money to go on fuel to get there and back, probably another 20% in taxi fares for me to be able to get the girls back and forth from school because I can't do 3 runs I can manage 2 if I do nothing else.. I worked out it will be 5 months before we are financially straight... lets pray something more suitable to our circumstances materialised pretty darn quick because I don't think I can do this long term. He is having all the car stuff and food shops from his income and everything else I'm dealing with.

Twinkle discovered iPads .. I guess she will be getting one come christmas ;)

so you know how fast this year has gone.. she is 1 in 4 weeks!!

    Morning ladies

Great news on the OH job front Pigpen...sorry for him that it is a boring one, but at least it's money! Good luck for the next few months with everything x

Fayolle - well done on getting through such a fun-packed day yesterday, but I can hear croaking from the corner...

Hope you're on the mend LW. I have to admit to being mildly shocked at reports of non-ironing :rotfl:

We are still married. And together. And talking. It's much better. I'm still exhausted but we now have a plan for the future. It feels like a weight has lifted.

Yesterday passed in a blur, but I got loads done. Promise!
