Some wonderful ideas and suggestions thank you all so much for taking the time.

Some unhelpful unkind ones too but you expect that.

My children are all adult and hubby is working on the house/garden.

I love some of the ideas and am certainly going to try them thank you so much xx

try free online games - my favourite is big fish games, hidden object is my first preference followed by griddlers/mosaics. It is actually a site which sells games but I've never bought one online yet (I do own some which I bought in a computer store). I also got to download one free (the whole game that is) when I found a problem in a trial.

So they allow you a free trial for 60 or 90 minutes. As long as you chose the ones that involve some brain activity you are on a winner. An hours fun and small defeat for dementia.

Or Candy Crush/Soda/Jelly. I have - rather sadly - reached level 1,008 on Soda

I don't know if I want to admit to how little of a life I must have (in my defence I do have a fairly long commute to work) but I'm on level 1,467 on Soda and 2,465 on Candy :o

  • Until my PC decided to go to pot, my time filler was FarmVille, I could play for hours. Never spent a penny on it either

Mob Wars... i have had more accounts than i care to remember. Decided there was more to life than Facebook and Mob Wars when i woke at 4am and the first thing i did was check my Mob Wars news feed.

Im just a few days into deactivating my account(s) and am still having withdrawals.:o
