Sent via Royal Mail? So I'm guessing you didn't use a fully tracked service so you would have proof of delivery? Oh deary deary me, you need to learn to start doing that especially for selling to other countries or you'll not have a business long because it'll have gone broke. I bet they got the goods, realised they weren't tracked and decided to rip you off. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Yeah, perhaps a mistake on my part. I've been doing that for years though with no issue. Probably time to tighten up.0 -

Certainly time to keep count - how many go without problems and how many are problems? You may find it is worth swallowing a few refunds for lower postage costs, especially if increased postage costs would reduce your sales. One issue in 8 years doesn't seem too bad a score, but be prepared to take action if it does happen more than you are willing to tolerate. But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Well most of the orders are fairly low cost items so occasional blips are ok to handle. Obviously if they were more expensive then i would get them tracked. This bluster is over £12. Destroy my business for £12 that he has been refunded. He wants to alert other to my tactics apparently. The tactics which led me to give him his money back i presume.0

International tracked can be very expensive so probably people won't choose it for a low-cost item. Int. signed for only tracks the item within the UK. Anyway, knowing Feds won't come after, I hope you can breathe now :Pally.0

Why are you worried? What do you think he is going to report? The loss he hasn't suffered since you've refunded him?
That guy probably suffered from mental health issues, paranoia and/or delusion. You don't have to care about your customers, you have to act business like, which you've done since you've re-sent and refunded. Unless your business is dodgy, which I doubt you would be posting here if it was, what have you got to worry about?0 -
Watch out - he's going to sic the Feds on you!
Seriously - they'd just laugh at him; imagine it...
Feds: "So, sir, what is the crime?"
Customer: "I bought something on the internet which didn't arrive, the seller sent me another, which also didn't arrive, so the seller refunded me in full."
Feds: "So, sir, what is the crime?"
Customer: "Erm..."
Feds: "Thank you for wasting our time."0 -
Scam, if you can be bothered a bit of research may uncover if this is a serial scammer to help your report to .
You should have enough details to find them, also if you items are resealable check the local equivalents of gumtree and ebay, you might just find 2 for sale.
I sure if you posted a detail or two some may even help with the research.0 -
Call his bluff.
Tell him you would welcome any FBI investigation into this case as they will have the ability to trace the missing packages right to his address.
Ask him for the name and contact details of the FBI case officer as you wisnh to submit all the relevant evidence in the hope they can bring the "perp" to justice.0 -

It worked, didn't it?
it's a straightforward and very basic con, which you have fallen for. He will just keep issuing threats as long as you keep sending him items and/or money. You've already flagged yourself up as an easy mark. Just cease all contact forthwith.0
