    It may look a mess, but don't despair - it is sortable, but probably not by continuing to trade posts on this forum. Contact the Citizens Advice Bureau - this sort of thing is an everyday query for the them: https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/contact-consumer-helpline/

    Don't close your Paypal dispute until it is sorted out - you won't be able to re-open it if you need to.

    So you order blinds then go on holiday, I would say it was partly your fault and as a seller I would blame you for the delivery getting soaked.

    ...except the seller's terms of delivery include this wording, which makes it clear that the delivery should not just be 'left' :

    If you have missed your delivery for any reason, we recommend first checking calling card left for you from the courier company or call the courier company with your tracking number or alternatively call us for further assistance and re-organise the delivery at your convenience.
