Faulty blind

who pays the return postage on faulty goods?
After returning home from a holiday I was horrified to find a parcel I had had to make a Dispute about to pay pal left behind the gate. The box was falling apart as we'd had rain and hail.
I brought the parcel into the house opened it the blinds were water damaged and the track had a dent in it. I contacted PayPal explaining the situation. And they told me I would get a refund but I had to wait . I got a message off them saying yes you're entitled to a refund you must send it back and pay the postage. Horrified I've looked in to sending back it will cost £30.
I don't think this is fair as it's not my fault it's faulty. If anyone can help would be greatful

I tried to contact the seller but the number kept saying not recognised. I tried several times that day so I got really worried. So I contacted pay pal as I thought I had protection.0

You need to contact the seller, you don't have an email address for them? Sorry answer to last question the blinds should have been with me between 5-7 days . I had no text message saying saying there was a delay.0

Pay pal have contacted them. They said they packed them up correct. But they were left outside no calling note. I thought if no one was in for a signature they would take them back and we would rearrange.0
