I'd love a cuppa and a piece of apple pie.
I've listed everthing I already had photos for and have taken photos of the other things I've found, so while I'm having a cuppa I'm going to get them listed.....

    Morning all

Sun is shining! It was foggy earlier but it's clearing beautifully. One load of washing on the line, when DD gets up and strips her bed (it's her day off) I'll get that washed too.

I've cleaned the sink, toilet and bath. I did the floors yesterday. No blinds or mats to do.

Computer desk was done yesterday (it's in the hall), I do a disc clean up every night before I close down and I defragged last week. The desk was pulled out a couple of weeks ago when the computer went off to the workshop and it's too heavy to do that very often! I vacuum under it whenever I do the hallway anyway - most days.

Living room is tidy but can't vacuum until DD gets up.....I want to put my music on too, hope she gets up soon!

Here you go frankieM :coffee: and apple pie.

    I'm so cold.
Need to start planning the decorating now that we know which rooms we can get on with. So need to get more paint brushes this week end.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Morning all :hello: Slept like a log last night (woke up looking like I had measles I slept so "heavy" last night :rotfl: ) so since I've just finished my second cup of coffee for today I'm ready to go :D Well except for the nightclub playing trance music that appears to be next door  I think I'm going to get one of OH's Mark Ronson CD's on (oh my! I now know why he doesn't listen to it when DD is around - the language is  :rotfl::rotfl: )

The stew for tea last night in the slow cooker only got eaten by DD (I was waiting for OH to come in so we could eat together and discuss our day since he had an open evening to do) so that back on with some more veg thrown in for tonight. There's no ironing as I did it last night while DD and I watched The Phantom of the Opera (DD was in tears at the end cause Christine didn't choose the phantom  ) so if any materialises today I might do it tonight while DD and I watch a film together again. She loves doing it that way :D I also took advantage of OH not being in and got the livingroom completely tidy and all the dishes washed so I can actually clean today instead of tidying then cleaning :D

This morning I've already stripped our bed again (very sweaty as last night we went to bed at 9pm both exhausted and it was hot in our room even thought the heater was off  ) - thats already washed (with the quilt & pillowcases from DD's bed from the weekend which I hadn't gotten around to washing due to the weather) and its out on the line. :D I'll put in another load at 10am as the sun isn't shining in the yard yet much so it won't be helping the washing dry.

SOoooooo its time to get stuck in with a shortened list - lets see :

Oh, and a pile of old clothing which I'm going to turn into a blind (OHs old dressing gown - just the right size to make a new blind for the bathroom!) and some draught excluders ;) Plus my decorating clothes & trainers so :p:p:p:p

    Thursday Bathroom and Study/Pc Area

    Level One
Clean floors in these rooms (even if it is around the clutter)
    Level Two
    Clean baths, toilets and sinks
[strike]Clear any clutter from desk [/strike]

Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
    Level Three
    [strike]Clear clutter from floor [/strike]

Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment the pc while doing this (programs.. accessories..system tools.. defragment!.).. if you do the disc cleanup as well it clear all the cookies and temporary files too
[strike]Delete 10 links in your favourites which you no longer use or are dead![/strike]
Clean/wash the brushes/dust box/filters on the vacuum cleaner!!!! .. make sure they are completely dry before using it though.. I don’t want anyone electrocuted!!
    Extra mission:
Pick whichever you want to attempt:
    • Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
    • Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc - easier option, I chucked the blind! It was disgusting! Will have to make a new one now though.

Got the bedding in the machine now and music on :)

Our resident ghost has struck again. I put the soap on the side of the bath while I was cleaning the sink and it has disappeared. I wonder where it will turn up, it was only about 10 minutes before DD went in to wash her hands and couldn't find the soap. We've checked the bin etc.......never mind!

Morning all. Not feeling great today, feel really sick for no apparent reason. Slept badly Nicki I was cold in bed and so was OH we both ended up with socks on!

Torianut I watched 'Help me Anthea I'm infested' last night and one of the homes on there was over run by mice - they had to call the pest man in. Do you have a cat? Mine sometimes bring in live mice and let them loose. I get OH to catch them or we have those human trap things to catch them in - don't work very well though. Good luck and stay up high. I'll tell you a vile story. Once I put my hand in my bag which was hanging with the coats to get my purse. It is a sheepskin job so furry inside. As I put my hand in a mouse jumped out. It had been living in there and had shreeded some tissue up as bedding:eek:

Right I plan to do half an hour in each room by turn working on the principle a little in each room will help.

    Kitchen
    Hall/stairs/landing
    living room
    bathroom
    master bedroom.

Anytime left at the end to be spent turbo listing

  • Morning all! hope you're all ok.....?

My flying isn't coming to much so far this week.... the dailies are getting done but not much else. I've been doing overtime at work, getting most of the dailies done before I leave around 11am but I'm not back till 8pm-ish, get some dinner then I'm too shattered to do much else.

I do have a dilemma I was wondering if anyone can help with.......?

Since the beginning of the school year my outlaws have been looking after/fetching from school my 2 littlies while I go to work. While this is saving me money in childminding it's wearing me out. I come back from work at 8pm and the house looks like armegeddon and I could cry. I cleaned the kitchen on monday....did all of Pigpens list.... then left for work. When I came back there were pots, plates, cups and other stuff everywhere. I leave a meal for them so there shouldn't be such a mess. They drink loads of tea so the white sink is brown. They let the littlies have all the toys out and don't put them away. I've spent an hour and a half getting glittery stuff off the dining room, lounge and hall carpets this morning. I feel like sobbing.
Any solutions or suggestions without sounding ungrateful to the outlaws or causing a war with them?

Thanks for listening to my mad rant!! :DWill go and get the dinner ready to leave out for later.

Much love xx I miss you all on my work week ;)

Good morning lovely flygirlies (and boys)

I am looking after my friends son today, so we probably all go out to the pictures. The weather is miserable today.

    My aims for today are:

[strike]fold and put away all washing that has just came out of the dryer.[/strike]
    more washing, machine already on
    hoover living room
start on DLA form (hate that stupid form, it makes me depressed)
keep kitchen sparkling (sorry kids, no eating or drinking anything today )

Night night Denize, have a good day everyone else :grouphug:

[strike]ok, computer clean up first, while I am here..[/strike]
[strike]Asda order been delivered and put away (wiped out fridge again while I was there)[/strike]

[strike]Wiped PC area, cleaned keyboard with antibac. wipe[/strike]
    Ironing and put away

kids watching Spy kids 3D, makes me dizzy looking at it as I walk past

Vanilla: AHH, Bless your DD's cotton socks, castles and princesses for her then! Call me dim, but I read your post saying that DD is getting a bedroom, are you building one?
HopeElizzy: That is a difficult one. They are doing it out of the goodness of their hearts, surprised that they leave such a mess, My SIL looks after her grandaughter and she does their washing, ironing if needed, and cleans and her DIL doesn't like that much either, I don't know how you could approach it without hurting their feelings, maybe hiding the glitter and glue away. I feel for you, I really don't know how you do it, working and a family.. my hat of to you, and stop trying to be superwoman. have you got a dishwasher? (Just got one 2 days ago, it's fab)

I watched Anthea's infected programme, eeeuuuww, the bedbugs, we had a wee field mouse once behind kitchen cabinets, saw it behind the dryer, called council but because we owned the house they wanted something like £50, so just went to B&Q and got poison, put it behind the dryer and a few days later I found it dead there. I did feel a bit quilty, poor wee thing.

    Onwards
