Pigpen - can I have some carrot cake please - I think I need it.

Well you could if it was remotely edible.. I think there is something VERY wrong with the recipe.. I'll double check quantities.. and if they are correct I'll try a different one.. I think I've killed most of the birds here with my last 2 efforts!! lol

HOWEVER... my christmas cake looks fantastic!!

Right, friend has just left. I'm going to go to the loo, put the kettle on, tidy the kitchen, do the saucepans, then take some photos and list more things. I have 11 on my turbolister so far. I'm not very good at descriptions etc, so not sure how well things will sell, but I'll give it a go...
Will see you again in about an hour when I've bored myself stupid, no doubt!!

Well done you. I also searach other peoples listings to see what they have said about an item - copy and past works well on turbo lister especially if somebody else has colours/fonts etc:rotfl:

Feeling a failure as I still have managed zero flying today. Had to pick up DS2 from footie with DS3 in his PJs and slippers as OH was not home. He loves his new spiderman slippers and they flash as he walks which was quite fun in the car park in the dark. DS2 had hurt his foot so I had to piggyback him all the way back to the car which was a right hike with a child in pjs and slippers following behind.

Going to soak my feet now and sort out the draw of receipts/statements and hope to fly well tomorrow.

    Be back in a while

Pipgen nice chrissy cake - do you use the same receipe each year?

Evening everyone (good morning Denise) Aimee, hope you are ok, I know shingles can be bad after my son gave them to a friend of ours, he was really poorly with it, look after yourself.

Shed now almost empty, all the bikes, tools etc now over, just a few small things to go, then got to sort out with person who wants to collect it when it can go. Just leaves the trampoline, sandpit and pond to take out of garden then. Oh and change the fence.

Finished the gloss work in the dining room when I was over tonight, looks great now, can't see the red poking through :D then cleaned all the cupboard fronts. That red takes some shining up. Cleaned the hob but yet to tackle the oven. Doing my list then off in the shower as I look, smell and feel like a paint factory.

    My list for tomorrow

    Before 3.15pm
    [STRIKE]
    Dailies (inc getting boys ready)
    Price up fencing wire
Book my car in at garage for repairs
Book DPs car in to get tyres on
Ring company who make boiler to ask for instructions
    Inform more places about move
    Paint living room walls [/STRIKE]

Gloss work in living room finish tomorrow
[STRIKE] Pack two boxes/bags, fling one box/bag (trying to step it up now we have keys)
Pack stuff into car inc what is left in the shed [/STRIKE]
    few more bits to go
[STRIKE]Unpack what we take over [/STRIKE]
Put gardening stuff into summer house (shed has a bit of roof missing so can't use it yet)
    After 3.15pm
[STRIKE] Take DS2 to physio/OT session
    Dinner [/STRIKE]

    Take boys swimming
    Put some stuff on Ebay
    Collapse in heap again!
One day I might be more organised...........
