    Morning

Just listed 3 things on eBay seeing as it's half price day but it's taken me ages lol I know it will get quicker cause this time I knew what I was doing, so fingers crossed they sell.

Haven't done a thing yet except get DD2 to school and make 2 cuppas so I don't know what I'm sitting gas-bagging for really.

    Thursday Bathroom and Study/Pc Area

    Level One
Clean floors in these rooms (even if it is around the clutter)
    Level Two
    Clean baths, toilets and sinks
    Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
    Level Three
    Clear clutter from floor
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment the pc while doing this (programs.. accessories..system tools.. defragment!.).. if you do the disc cleanup as well it clear all the cookies and temporary files too
Delete 10 links in your favourites which you no longer use or are dead!
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
Clean/wash the brushes/dust box/filters on the vacuum cleaner!!!! .. make sure they are completely dry before using it though.. I don’t want anyone electrocuted!!
    Extra mission:
Pick whichever you want to attempt:
    • Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
    • Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc
    • grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend!
    • clean the radiators in these rooms
    Deep Clean Challenge
Pull out the pc and desk and clear under and behind it.. how much money did you find? (I found a £2.50 postal order! and 12p)
clean windows, hang up clean nets and draught-proof curtains and any table cloths/throws or other dust and grot gathering bits of fabric!
Wipe sticky and dirty marks off the walls and doors.

    S&S kichen
    S&S living room
    hoover through
    load DW
hang up wet washing (no I didn't get round to it)
    WM x 2

HopeElizzy.. I think you need to set out a few ground rules.. Start on a positive.. the children love it and are happy.. explain you are tired when you come home and want to spend time with the children rather than tidying the mess and say you want everyone to be happy and you can only do this if you all work together.. thank them for being so kind and ask if they would mind trying to make sure the children keep the mess down, and craft ONLY at the table.. no exceptions!!.. or do a 'surprise tidy' for you before you get in.. end on a positive that you are really grateful for their help and if they need anything in return (and secretly hope they say no!) thye only need ask.. Good luck!!!

Embb .. I've done nothing as well.. 7 children to school, 2 cuppas (which hubby made) and sat and had my nails painted for an hour!!.. more tea?

HopeElizzy that's a difficult one. All I can suggest is you have a word with them, tell them that although you are forever in their debt could they please try and keep a grip on the place whilst you're out because it's becoming too much having to clean up all the time. The worst that can happen is they have a strop and refuse childcare  Good Luck x

I'm not one to refuse a cuppa pigpen :D

ok done my first 30 minutes (with the timer set for 26 minutes so I know when time is nearly up). Kitchen now back how it should be. Having a little break after each stint and drinking a glass of water each time to try to make me feel more hydrated.

Hope I am useless at that sort of thing (I call mine outlaws too) I think I would say how the house is getting you down and that you have become a fly lady. Could you print out the list from here each day and leave it somewhere prominent and tell them you are tyring to stick to it. They might even do one of the tasks. Also I'd say that you are trying to get the kids into a habit of putting one thing away before getting another one out as that is what they have to do at school. See I am a coward.

Couple of emails then onto the living room - it is hell in there but will see how much I can do in 30 minutes. Be back at 11:30 if anyone is brewing.

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

How do I get £1.41 eBay charges when I've only sold one thing and listed 3 others? even with a Gallery photo each it doesn't sound right  not sure how much they take for selling it mind you - it may add up....I dunno....hold on 36p for selling it? yes?

Just went at the kitchen like a mad woman, all the benches are clear now (just need wiping) the bowl is full of hot soapy water the rubbish is outside in the bin and the washer's empty oh and the DW been loaded and turned on. Didn't even take 10 minutes  and yet I kept looking at it thinking nooooooooooooooooooo *sigh* lol

Thanks for the link, my maths is carp so don't know what 5. whatever percent of 1.04 is, also forgot to notice that the higher the starting price the higher the insertion fee, it all adds up probably, don't think they're trying to screw me over lol

I'm up for 30 mins challenge, I seem to have got stuck on this seat...
