    Evening folks,
Hi to all the Newbies and returners, hugs to those in need especially Poohbear. Ta for the new thread Pigpen,I'm a little unsettled by your Christmas tree though.. bah humbug and all that.

I missed the end of the last thread and had a busy weekend socialising and there's been no flying done today either as I didn't get home and shopping unpacked 'til 7.30 so I'm in from tomorrow.
Had another date yesterday with the Blokey - going well.. seeing him again Thursday too.:D
I've got a week off work next week and I can't wait!! I'm making a hit list of Flying stuff to do while I'm off. I feel like I've taken my eye off the ball a bit in the past few weeks and I'm drifting again. So frustrating when I haven't the time or the energy when I get home from work. Hey ho.

Welcome back :D. Like Pigpen said I'm still here (don't get rid of me that easy :rotfl: ) :rotfl: but in middle of moving house so lovely Pigpen has taken over for me for a while. At some point I will actually be without internet at all but I am trying not to think about it and researching where I can get online near the new house :o :rotfl:

And SAD!! Very SAD!! Because you are much more organised than me  :p

Actually just ordered one of the presents on DS2s Xmas list, looked through what was on offer in Argos when I was ordering DS1s bed, both beds now ordered, so that is the main stuff coming, only problem now is making sure someone is there for when they arrive, ain't got a hope being there for 7am on Wednesday.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Morning All,
I've been awake since 5am. DH was too tired to drive to work last night, but had an early meeting this morning. He needed to be up at 5am , so I got up and made him a cup of tea.
I wasn't properly up and dressed till 6am....(its still night time then!!!)
Anyway, I got absolutely nothing done yesterday, so like others will playing a bit of catch up. As my downstairs is open plan and my house isn't very big, it shouldn't be too bad.
Of course I'm tired before I start, which isn't great.
So far, I've stacked the DW and put it on and then emptied it, sorted through washing from yesterday, ready for it to be put away, given the lounge and dining room a quick tidy.
There's no point doing anything in the kitchen until the children have finished having breakfast and making their lunches etc.
Going to go and take a look at todays list now and see what else can be done..
Will probably catch up again when children have left for school...
  • morning all - was so great to come down to tidier downstairs today - i had forgotton how good it feels - and spent more time with children doing lovely things and they were much less whingey

good luck with the move lil_me - how will you survive without the net!

right off to check list catch you all later

You get post on Thursday as well Juliejim.. they are striking from lunchtime Thursday to lunch time Saturday.. Stupid and a waste of time really.. they have independant staff coming in in most busy areas to keep things running so though you won't get post until the following Thursday it will get sorted so you'll get it all at once.. daft posties will have a weeks worth of letters and parcels to deliver instead of just one day..

Yes I realised after I'd come off the computer I'd put Wednesday so I'd already planned to change it this morning but you beat me to it!

Any specials will be delivered on the correct day - other than that it depends how many staff don't strike and how many managers get drafted in from other areas.

    Morning everyone

It's going to be quite a busy day flying for me
I've got to try and find the living room!
I know it must be there, somewhere:confused: , amongst all of the paperwork, toys, junk etc.

Also need to try and do some more painting in dd's room (I hate glossing) so that I can get the carpet layed in there before the cats destroy it!,
atm the carpet is laying up the stairs and the cats are loving the idea of having a new scratching post:mad:
