Hi All
What would be a suitable timescale for the EA to let the vendor know about someone who has requested to view a property
Is there a reasonable amount of time for this
Thanks in Advance

No. It all depends on the vendor and how flexible they are. I've known people stood in the office wanting to visit immediately if it suits the vendor off they go and view.0

I mean how quick should the EA inform the vendor ie get in touch with them0

I'm the vendor..
And I am unsure about my EA.
I had someone put in a request to view at 4pm yesterday.
They still havent let me know0 -
Recently, during our current housesearch, the time between request to view and us knocking on the door for viewing was 20 mins ... very accommodating vendor "!0

I would have expected a phone call by now if someone requested a viewing yesterday at 4pm. I would have expected one within 30 minutes of someone requesting.0

I would have preferred to have been contacted by now, but I'd also assume the EA are staffed by humans and that it's therefore possible for the message to have been forgotten about or lost - or taken by someone who left work at 4pm and isn't in again until 11am. Also depends when the viewing is meant to be?0

I think it will depend on what you arranged with your EA - if you're doing the viewings really they should let you know ASAP and if they aren't I would definitely speak to them about this. We just told the EA they could do what they want between weekdays 9-5 and just to drop us a text message as a courtesy so we know there are people there, and they texted us as bookings came in (usually a day or 2 in advance)0
