My comment you've quoted was not an assumption. Quite the opposite - it was countering your assumption that a write-off could not possibly be just a minor bump. It could easily be. We simply don't know from the information we've been given.
?
"Could not possibly be just a minor bump" Where did I say that?
There are no assumptions of any kind in my post.0 -
Lovely, so not a single assumption has been made, and we're all agreed that we have no idea how minor a bump it was or wasn't. It could have been absolutely trivial, it could have been really quite major. <group hug>0

Some of the assumptions made here based on zero evidence remind me of antics on roundabouts .." because they were in that lane they must have been going to exit".
Saw their GP, no mention the of A&E and an extended stay in hospital. No mention of being cut out of the wreckage.
I see no evidence of a traumatic collision.0 -
This might be a bit of an assumption but I have a sneaky feeling the OP won't be back to provide details of this accident.0

I see no evidence of a traumatic collision.
No evidence, zero evidence ....same thing.0 -

Genuine question would insurance pay for a chiropractor? It's snake oil quackery so is it covered?0

OP you won't know a value until you've seen the psychiatrist, and your solicitor has received their report detailing whether they feel this accident could have caused PTSD. Once they have the full picture they will value your claim and tell you what they think it's worth.
Do note that a medical expert won't say you have PTSD just because you think you do. I've had some medical reports come through where the medical expert basically said the claimant was lying, in not to many words.0 -
For some reason I didn't get emails of the responses.
Baring in mind I was hit stationary at 45mph that may give you an idea of the accident.
I came for some advice not to be attacked for what I've been through, especially as none of you were there. Even more so that car seat collapsed as I was hit and bounce back into the seat during the collision hence why I've had so many issues. I was seen by an ambulance and as they were happy there were no fractures they let me go home. And also baring in mind I've not driven since as the idea of driving terrifies me.
People react differently, I didn't come here to get judged, I came for advice.
But no worries, thanks anyway!0
