    Hello all!

Could I join your latest challenge albeit a week late please? Have previously been a SW group member but am going to try and fly solo and see how I get on!

If it's ok for me to join, please could you put me down for a 12lb loss?

Can I take the plunge and join a week late please as well?
If I can join will shala put me down for 7lb please.
    Thanks.

Morning peeps, only cut down for 1 day and have terrible headache already. :rotfl:

Thanks for the chart Shala and well done on SOTW Bubbs.

Well done to all that posted losses last night.

Yesterday was going so well for me. All on plan and then... :(

Weigh in tonight, and worried I have lost my chance at a loss, but determined today will be good, to minimise the damage

    Today's plan:
    Breakfast - overnight oats
    Lunch - Cheese salad
    Dinner - HM pot noodle
Snacks - strawberries and Skips, but will only have Skips if I'm really hungry

    HA - milk and cheese
    HB - oats
    Syns - miso (0.5), Salad dressing (0.5), Skips (4.5)
    Zebras rock

Well done Bubbs on being our SOTW.
I've made it through my second day, thanks JOEDENISE for the advice to take it day by day. I do feel like I am getting the momentum back to stay on plan.

Glad the advice worked for you and that you feel like you've got the momentum back to stay on plan. One of the guys in our SW group is posting each day to say it's helping him stay on plan which is why I thought it might work for you too!

x3 cream crackers - 6) - just need to stick to it

HorseyKaz - are they ordinary cream crackers or reduced fat ones? The syns are right for the ordinary ones but won't you need butter or something on them? I certainly couldn't eat 3 cream crackers without butter or possibly Laughing Cow on them! If you're having something on them then you need to add a few more syns.

Not going to bother posting my menu today as I've said the other day I'm going out to lunch with my DH and sister for both mine and DH's birthdays (mine was end March! and DH's is today). There will also be wine syns consumed now as we're staying overnight rather than me having to drive back again tonight (it's an hour's drive each way). Hadn't planned for any wine syns so will definitely be way over syns this week.

Will need to make a decision on whether or not I weigh in on Thursday - now I'm just back in target I don't want to risk going out again so probably won't:rotfl:.

Think I'm heading for a gain this week thanks to this cold that wont go away.

Carb on top of carb is all I've wanted.

Anyway getting into the swing of it again now and got my 10, 000 steps done yesterday which was a marked improvement from not moving from the settee all day sunday!

    Morning all

Back to normality again after a lovely couple of days with my grandsons - they're 4 and 10 months, full of energy, noisy and the youngest is into everything so it's been a tiring couple of days but I've loved it. I've eaten fairly well but didn't keep track of points, we did do quite a long walk on Sunday so I've had some BM too (or whatever SW calls it!).

I've had a quick skim read back through all the posts I missed (you chatty lot!), so well done to everyone that's had a loss in the last few days :j and welcome lea and curlgirl , feel free to join in the chat and ask any questions.

Thanks for the chart Shala and well done Bubbs for SOTW. :T

Morning all and thanks for the chart Shala! Well done SOTW Bubbs!

Welcome to all the newbies! And shiprob that is a bliddy fantastic loss for the year so far!

What's all this about lovely weather? It's absolutely baltic in NE England, I've had the heating on and was regretting not wearing a scarf yesterday!

Well I turned up at yoga last night and the teacher announced we'd be concentrating on shoulders, which was not good news for me and my suspected whiplash from my fall! It was really hard work, especially the stuff on all fours as my knees are bruised as well, but I feel a heck of a lot better today - phew! It really makes you realise how hard life must be for people in chronic pain - everything is so much harder and you feel like doing nothing at all.

So today I bit the bullet and had a go at my first smoothie sans recipe. I used: 100g frozen raspberries (1 syn), 1 banana (4), 3 tbsp FF nat yog, 1 passion fruit (<1 syn), HEB worth of chia seeds and flaked almonds, ice. It made two decent sized glasses so I had half for breakfast and will have the other half this aft when peckish.

    S - coffee (2), smoothie (5)
D - Tuna salad (grated carrot, cucumber, pre-grated smoky beetroot (1), cherry toms, balsamic vinegar) (would normally have a boiled egg as well but it was a late breakfast and will be an early tea, so won't bother today)
    T - Speedy bolognese
    HEA - Milk
HEB - Chia and almond in smoothie
Syns - Smoothie (5), sugar in coffee (3), beetroot (1), cheese on spag bol (2), hot choc (2) = 13

I've also resurrected my old My Fitness Pal account, to see what my calories and nutrition look like, more out of interest than anything. Yesterday I finished on 12 syns and 1309 cals but the nutrition was all over the place. Waaaay over on sugar, so I either need to kick my coffee habit or try to reduce the sugar in it (I hate the taste of sweetener).

It's a lot of work tracking both at once but I don't have an awful lot else on at the moment so I really should use this downtime wisely to try to get my weightloss on track properly.

Have a good day all! xx

:T I know I've missed some losses since yesterday so well done to you!:D

Welcome, new people. Just keep posting and asking questions. Good to have you along.:)

Happy Birthday to your DH denise. I hope you have a great time. I wouldn't weight this week If I were you. It'll give you much longer to get back into range if there are gains.

Glad you enjoyed the family time lois. I remember a friend doing WW and she could trade points (or whatever it was called then) for exercise. I remember she used to walk 30 mins to her mum's for Sunday lunch (while family went by car) so that she could have a pudding. Does it still work like that?

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, fried eggs, bacon, tomatoes
L: JP with veggie chilli and cottage cheese
D: steak, salad, new potatoes (hopefully if on pub menu)
Syns: glass of wine? and they may force me to have onion rings.;)
