Paint - an optional extra
I see that Nissan are up to their old tricks again
The new Micra (from about £11,500 for a 900cc version !!) is available only in "beige" unless you pay extra for a different colour - since "beige" is not a very nice car colour - Nissan are effectively making paint an optional extra !!

There are some people who view a car as a tool or necessity and who don't give a toss as to its colour so why should these people end up paying more to cover the whims of people who want something different?Why do they just not charge more and include a paint option as standard?

As far as I can tell, the base colour is ivory.0 -
Why make the only free paint beige ?
Surely white or red would have cost the same ?
But beige being a disgusting colour means they get more people paying for an option...0
