Hi Everyone,
This is my first thread so here goes.
I've recently went to Perth, Australia, flying from Heathrow via Dubai. Flew Qantas to Dubai then Emirates to Perth. I was delayed in Dubai fro 24 hours due to technical problems with the Aircraft and also the second Aircraft. I'm trying to claim compensation which is no easy task as its outside the EU. I did read an article stating Aviation Authority are taking Emirates and other Airlines to court . Can anyone tell me when this is? I thought it might be in May but not sure.

No claim ... delay outside EU on non EU carrier - in terms of 261/2004.
