I've not made anything today but I've been having a bit of a clear up/clear out and am hoping to photograph some stuff tomorrow for FB and eBay.
I did think about doing a boot sale but I *still* haven't heard about the job (though my booking has now been extended until the end of June so they don't seem to be in any hurry to get rid of me :rotfl: ) and I'd rather do it when I know whether I can sell all the stuff for my plan B. Plus I'm knackered and want a lie inMake £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -
I don't ever sell things on auction, it also puts me off buying things on auction...it's very rare I'll bid.
When you think about it, most people go on eBay to get something. Some people might try and win bargins, but most people just want to buy something and have it sent to their door...plus as you say, you get the less serouis buyers bidding on something not really sure if they want it and changing their minds etc.
Back of my holiday now look foward to starting in June, I think I'll go for the full £10 a day - I'm hoping since I'm just starting I can find things to sell mainly that I can get to the £300 or so but this week I must get this essay done now ...time is running outPeople don't know what they want until you show them.0 -

Most stuff I sell on eBay is buy it now. I price it realistically, including what I'll lose with fees, and postage, and then stick in on and wait. Occasionally I bump the buy it now price right up, but say I'll accept offers, then people think they are getting a great deal out of me, but I'm still getting what I wanted for it. :rotfl:Jan 2018 £68,274 May 1 2018 £59,537

Quick update from me, total now stands at £935.05!!!, all from overtime. Am working overtime tomorrow and Tuesday so will hit my target tomorrow, so delighted with that
Still nothing done on the selling front. I did contact an auction house though re selling some stuff and I'm gonna send them some pics tomorrow to see what they're worth. They're quite a bit away from us so don't want be traipsing miles to be told they're not worth much, so hopefully they'll give us some good news.
Have a PPI claim in as well and it's being "investigated" so should hear something next week about that. It's from quite a few years ago but I had the account number and stuff so you never know I might get something back from them with a bit of luckSave £25,000 in 2025: #45-£524.15/25, 000

Well done on your total so far. Must be wonderful to have the chance of overtime:beer:
Good luck with your auction appraisals, I hope you hear some good news:T. Did you hear about the woman who bought a 'costume jewellery' ring 30 years ago for £10 at a car boot sale and which has been valued by Sotherby's at around £350,000?. It's especially nice as the buyer didn't buy it just to sell on for profit but wore it every day for decades totally oblivious that it was a 19th Century 26 carat diamond:eek:. I love to hear of 'finds' like that. I doubt anyone ever made any megabucks out of any of my tat:rotfl:
Good luck too with the PPI claim:beer:. I had one that was rejected a couple of years ago but have since sought advice after hearing of others with successful similar claims from the same lender and it's now with the Ombudsman. I live in hopes with that one:j
I hope the sun shines on you all this week.0 -
