Apology accepted. I hadn't made much effort to see how to reply using the quote, I thought it would have been obvious to anybody who took 10 seconds to do a bit of research to see who I was replying too.

I'll be more careful not to put random posts on my own thread in future

It’s always best to include quotes when answering questions or replying to specific posts, otherwise comments can seem a little random and without context.

Please also remember that regulars, of which fisherjim is a prominent one, are speed reading through dozens of threads and posts every day, all at different levels of complexity and seriousness and at different stages of proceedings, and are expected to deliver detailed and watertight advice (often unrealistically) to sprinkle magic dust over everyone’s problem.

Not speaking for fj (he’s well capable of doing that himself) but pointing out the pressures we are continually under.

When it’s all over for you, come and join us, share the load.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Lol, wait till you get the very, very final letter from DRP offering you a discount to pay ... which you ignore ... and then after that they will send you another super final automated letter with the "debt" back up to £160. Then you get a "Gladstones" letter and finally, maybe, possibly a real Letter Before Claim and a MCOL ... it is at that point you must take action (if it happens in the next 6 years).

As said above, keep everything filed nicely until/if that LBC comes ...

So as you correctly stated Safar today I received yet another letter from DRP with the amount back up £160. Although they have 'generously' given me more time to pay and also offered an instalment option.

APCOA played the same game with me. I use the fact to mock them in my PoPLA appeal.

Hello Javina, welcome to the forums.

You haven't said what literature you are looking for, but can I suggest you have another read of the second post in this thread.

After having read the NEWBIES FAQ thread, if you still have any questions then please start a new thread.

Please do not respond again on this thread. Trying to progress two incidents by two different people will only lead to confusion.
  • Hi, how did this one end for you?

I parked here back in January 2018 and G24/Gladstones have chased me a few times for £100/160. I've just been ignoring the letters and thought it had gone away as they went silent for a good 6 months. Just received a county court claim for £255 and not sure how's best to proceed with this.

If anybody has any advice I'd appreciate it, I've read the newbies post which mainly gives advice for what I should've done 6 months ago

    Thanks
