Congrats to DD GoodIntentions and to DH Natty Have a couple of sticks for the BD people
I'm hobbling back in - 10k yesterday. Slowest ever by some margin. Something to do with the gorging on Hot Cross buns, brownies and Chocolate Chip Cookies methinks.
Unusually I'm at work today so flying will take a back seat. Kitchen and Dining Room got done yesterday though so it should be bathrooms today. I'll have to double up tomorrow. I need to do the Spare Room tonight as I have an overnight guest tomorrow - we'll be baking/cooking and running together:D
Well done on the C25K Narc0lepsy. I'm hoping to try the local Parkrun this weekend. But DH has just noticed its a bank holiday and wants to go off diving. I REALLY want a weekend at home.:rotfl:
Have a great Monday everyone.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -

Natty I'm so pleased that Dave is on the mend; you must have been off your skull with worry. And of course that will have exacerbated your IBS.
Duckydo I feel for your friend - I was on prednisolone for a time, it was horrid. And they recently tried me on gabapentin, which did me no good at all, and shoveled a load of weight on me which I now can't shift.
Congratulations to Miss GI on passing the driving test. :T
Thanks everyone - the Power of the Flyladies triumphs again; my butterfly is well down from the way it looked yesterday, and I have managed to throw the Dys0n round the bungalow (got up two and a half cylinders of Ronnie-hair! ) Plan is to defrost the freezer this afternoon - I shall go and do that when I've posted this, I think.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Sending a lorry-load of big sticks out into the Flylady ether for all those needing some.
I had my appointment at the GP today. She explained that it was a viral infection that had caused the heart attack - not the usual blockage cause at all. Apparently they ran over thirty tests trying to identify the virus - as it is very unusual that it caused this.
Anyway - long story short. She has given me a repeat prescription for the very low doseage drugs I'm taking from the hospital, as she wants to leave it until I see the consultant in June, just to be on the safe side, as there is no way of knowing atm of any long-term damage done to my heart.
Good news is my BP, cholesterol, sugars etc all seem normal atm - though she took some bloods to do some more checks.
She thinks the tiredness and lack of appetite are just due to the awful few days I was soo ill and my body is just trying to recuperate in its' own way. She expects it to take around another month before I start to feel back to 'normal'. So I'm just to do what I feel up to, no exercise apart from pottering or a gentle walk and eat as nutritionally as possible - not to worry about the amount. If I don't feel any better in a month to give her a call.
Looks like I shall be annoying you all from the sofa for a little while yet. I am going to start a 'clear out the drawers' challenge from tomorrow. I will get DH to lift out a drawer each day onto the dining or kitchen table and I can sort it sitting down at my own pace. At least I'm doing something :rotfl:
Thanks for all the kind thoughts and hugs all round
Hope you all having a great Monday

Don't know if I mentioned.. OH didn't get that job he had interview for but has 4 more in the offing.. he NEEDS to do this.. I need the time to get on top of the hovel in which we reside and I cannot do it with him underfoot asking if we REALLY need to throw away this all important 3 week old empty crisp packet and 'what do you want me to do with this?' waving a 6 year old appointment card at me!! Oh I dunno.. stick it to your head and dance the hula maybe??
See.. I need some time.. and he needs to be with people, I am just enabling his clinginess and allowing him to remove himself from society..
Anyway.. job flying his way vibes are desperately needed pleases!
I sorted one toy storage thingy of toys.. filled 2 wheelie bins with stuff and removed a fair chunk of gubbins from the front room.
My kitchen is disgusting.. it just is.. and my hips and left knee are agony! GP offered paracetamol which doesnt work or else I'd buy it over the counter and not waste an appointment! So, I'm battling through it..
