    Morning all

Great news Natty hope you can shake the BD off now and start to feel a bit more like yourself.

Feeling a bit off it. Not sure why. Decided to give the gym a miss this morning although I will take my gym bag with me in case I decide to go later. Both lots of paid stuff, committee meeting later, bit of shopping to do, need to go to the bank and pay some cheques in.

Off to mop the kitchen floor then go and scrub the bath while I am getting a shower. Have a good Monday everyone x

Just waiting for 1st child to arrive before I start work - an easy day today, with a total of only 3 children :)

Can I ask for some Good Luck vibes this morning? DD2 has just left for her 3rd driving test!! I hope she passes :)

Inspired by all you slimmers, the marathon and the thought of a holiday at the end of May, I have done workout 1 of week 1 of "Couch to 5k". I did it on the rebounder just to see what it was like, but will do some 'proper' outside running. I've never liked running, plus my arthritic toe makes a fuss - but I think the structure and progress may help me. It will be a busy week as I'm booked into Clubbercise tomorrow, Zumba Tues and have 2 private dance lessons this week as well as the normal session. So kick-start my holiday shape (round is a shape, right?).

I did the Couch to 5K with a local club in January/February. I wouldn't have done it on my own! I never thought I would be able to run for more than 2 minutes non stop!! I now do the Parkrun every Saturday (5K), and have got my time down from 38 minutes to 32:49 since February!!!

Ok - my LO has just arrived - catch up later!!

    And anything else I've forgotten...

Interesting day yesterday. First we thought DS was playing a cup match. Then it seemed the powers that be who organised the match didn't know it was St George's day. Both teams home areas had big parades planned, and half the boys are in the cubs/beavers. So it was cancelled.

Phew, thinks I, more time to tame DD hair before her performance after the parade. So we play out on bikes. DD then gets in my car to pretend to drive. Unbeknownst to me, she has the hazard lights on, the aircon going, interior lights and pretty much everything. They got left on.

So, I'm thinking, I know, we'll set off at 12:40, plenty of time to park and find her troupe. Boom. Car doesn't start. TU to jump start it, call my dad to rescue us (he drops us off just in time!) and then having to try fix the bloomin car on a Sunday tea time :rotfl:

Seems to be ok now, and I'm almost thankful it's not still the weekend!
