why do the Mse staff, board guides etc not ban posters who persist in bullying and stalking others. It's a joke. The same people trawl the boards again and again in order to attack other posters who have nothing to do with them, it's sad that the PTB tolerate and by default encourage the hounding of posters by a select few insiders. This is why this forum has such a poor reputation for racism, xenophobia and general bullying. Is this what Martin Lewis Wants to be associated with?

simple answer is to report their posts, that is the only way to deal with them.
It is what they do to others that they dont agree with and that is why so many regulars get banned.0 -

Now not much use doing that, some posters are Teflon I suspect that the repeated actions of the bullies on this forum are tolerated by the so called 'forum team'. I know they have been reported by different people but Nothing will happen ,
we are all aware of the farce of the ressurectionists and their AE's so I doubt that bullying will be challenged or taken seriously
This forum and its ' rules' are a joke.0 -
Gosh bushbaby1103 I have just found this. I know when I first joined you were having problems, and I saw them. I cannot believe that this is still happening to you.0

If reporting is such a waste of time then how is it that a so-called reputable member member can join again under an AE, make a single post and then report me for being someone that I am not and get me banned with no warning?0 -

Oh my, this seems to be a trend. What is going on? I have only ONE user name, never had another, and yet I have been accused of being someone else. Is it some kind of cruel game, some people are playing?0 -
The site is not our site.
In fact it is no longer Martin Lewis's site. (He sold it to MoneySupermarket for something like £80M.)

We are all here on sufferance.
We can be removed at the owner's whim.
As far as I can tell, any rules are merely for guidance.
If MSE Towers (via their ForumTeam) wants to remove any posts, threads or users, that is entirely up to them.
They don't have to give reasons or explain their decisions (and usually don't).
They have decided to use a 'very hands off' style of moderation.
They say they will only look at things that are reported to them.
(And since we don't know what is reported to them, we have to take their word on that.)
We either accept all that and continue to post here.
Or we find somewhere else.0 -

Bullying seems common across the forum sadly.
I said in another thread only yesterday about sub forums I would avoid.
Presumably that is why I was incorrectly targetted by a poster posting in this thread too.
The thread disappeared into the ether, I see.
It does strike me that a little more care should be taken before accusing someone and bullying is more widespread than I thought.
Even in Money Savers Arms, which I did not expect.
I felt not hounded maybe but certainly discouraged from posting.
TBH I'm now unsure whether to remain.
Oh and I'm not looking for and nor do I want sympathy.
Just telling how my experience has been so far.
The thread you posted in yesterday was removed due to the content of the OP and the fact they had, had several threads removed already and nothing to do with you posting in it, it's a shame you obviously hadn't seen the previous posts as there certainly was no bullying in asking the OP to remove his photos and content.
I've had posts/threads removed due to a very new and allegedly shy poster claiming to have had trouble in another forum? Sorry but that is nothing to do with using MSE and it's best to settle in to a forum before accusing users you don't know of bullying.:j0 -

Just to let you know that BG's cannot ban posters. We report them the same as everybody else.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Please note that Ambassadors are not moderators. Any posts you spot in breach of the Forum Rules should be reported via the report button, or by emailing forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com. All views are my own and not the official line of MoneySavingExpert.0 -
In fairness, when someone posted something with a link to an address (I believe thinking it was mine), it was dealt with quickly.
I do agree with much of the remainder of the OP though.💙💛 💔0 -

Rightly or wrongly there is a presumption that newly joined people posting in DT or the Arms are returning AES. With some justification at times, it has to be said.
I am not suggesting that this is the case for you, but giving an explanation as to why new posters in DT may be viewed with a degree of scepticism - its unusual for people to launch straight into here (and yes it can be xenophobic and dogmatic and more right of centre than otherwise) without testing things out in other sub forums first.
It's not a justification, but unfortunately it's how it can be.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
