So if you go into IE and type in the IP address of the router (i.e. it'll be something like 192.168.2.1) what do you get?

Do you have your ISP details such as Username and password??

if these be the same as details for dial up then yes?

When you signed up for ADSL broadband did you not get an e-mail from your ISP with username and password? They may not necessarily be the same as your dial-up account.

Are there already any entries for these in the router set-up page for ISP/WAN?
