Well done on virgin deal , it's less hassle staying with the same provider sometime.

No worries about sky , I have passed another name on and they have signed up.

Have a good day US , on my way to Manchester markets and it's rather cool.

    Evening folks :D

Busy wee day but a good one.
help my best mate sort out problems he was having with his laptop... turned out the date and time settings were wrong and that was what was preventing him accessing the net... he's reconnected now.
I also reconfigured his browser to use chrome... he was using IE...

been trying to sort out Ebay orders that have went awry, couriers allegedly tried to deliver and left calling cards... Nope, they did'nt... anyway, have reset my delivery options so as to use a collection point. Not sure if i will actually get what I ordered now as the sellers may just refund me... hey ho...

Have found out what my bestie wants for his crimbo pressie from me (his lovely lady told me ;) ) and it is something that we can share... a nice single malt :D YAY :j

I am almost ready to settle in for the evening now...

Hope all you good folks have had good days today

I like consumables for presents, better than stuff and even nicer if you can share it and create some nice memories. I really like Glenmornagie (might have spelt it wrong) but I never drink it wrong :)

Glad you had a good day :)

actually, there is a third and its the best, however it's not always possible, that is to share it with a dear friend who's always been there for you and you for them

  • Oh... bestie has also requested some of my home brew for crimbo...
Which means I will definitely need to brew more of that Festival Ale - Father Hooks Best Bitter... :D

    Morning Folks :D

Monday already? Where did the weekend go?
    Busy again...
Nursing a coffee and checking the schedule for today and the coming week... urgh... hectic as usual.
Things are always busier on the run up to the holidays.
Clients want progress and so do we. Currently we are approx. 2 weeks ahead, on average, on all current projects. This means, atm, that we are well on track to deliver early for all of them and I will find out at end of week what the annual bonus is and when the team will receive it... so happy days :D

Hope everyone has a good one today

Ebay issue has been resolved via refunds...

and thankfully been able to source the items I wanted from other sellers who offer the click n collect service via my local Argos.
Apparently my orders will be ready to pick up by Friday and they will notify me when the are ready... result!

Macallan is a good dram, as is Highland Park.

Glad you've resolved your EBay issues.

    Glad eBay is sorted.

Yay to the annual bonus :) I've been working in the public sector for 17 years and have forgotten what it's like to get a Christmas bonus.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
