    I really miss my gas cooker Uncanny. My flat is all electric and I’ve never got used to the electric hob in all the years I’ve been here. Roast potatoes taste better cooked in a gas cooker - or at least that’s what I think!:D

    When we got our new kitchen Mr SA wanted us to have one of those gas cookers with the eye level grill as he thinks they make the best toast. Pointed out that I doubt very much they make them anymore.

    I swear that my Grans gas cooker cooked the best roasts in the world and her tea was the best too... :D

    Had a grand day out in the hills... hiking instead of biking

    Now, I'm resting my legs and taking muscle relaxing and pain killing medicine (Ale ;) ) as I settle in for the night with a DVD on loan from my mate "John Wick 2"... the first one was alright so should be OK...

    Busy day again today...

    Finished work and popped to Wilko's to get things for Christmas coming...
    Decided I was going to get a tree n lights n decorations etc.
    This will be a difficult one for me this year as I may be on my own for Christmas for the first time in ages... it seems everyone already has plans made for then... and of course, I don't have that special someone this year :(

    New Year will be great tho' as everyone knows that my Ale stocks are building up :D

    I know it may be a bit early yet but what do you folks have planned for this year's festive season?

    I know what you mean though. I hate Xmas anyway and the thought of doing it all alone just makes me not want to do anything :o

    I expect New year will be the same, on my own as the smalls will still go to bed at 7 :rotfl:

    My mum and aunts are going away over the season... they've booked a winter sun holiday thingy... Cyprus, I think she said... alright for some eh? ;) Don't begrudge her it, she deserves a nice break my mam.

    Brother and family are away too... skiing in Austria...

    Friends are all with their families and / or significant others.
    Ah, well more mince pies n Christmas cake for me then :D
