Thanks to Hiddenidentity and Scott_Weiland and others, I have been caught by the surveys...

I have signed up with Prolific Academic (PA), Opinion Outpost (OO) and Swagbucks (SB), so far

Have already made over £5 on PA, have 105 points on OO and 95 SB...

What's the best / favoured method of cash out? Circle or PayPal? With PA it looks like Circle would be best as there is no charge if over £20...
How do I get a Circle account then? ;)

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

    By using [STRIKE]my[/STRIKE] a referral link ;)

No in all seriousness :rotfl: I prefer circle but I guess what one won't fit all. I have had no issues with Circle and its in the bank within an hour once PA have sent it to circle (PA sending to either circle or PP is upto 5 days .. shh usually a Tues or a Friday ;) but that's secret :p)

Have just signed up with Circle...
If I had known that I could have used your referral link and got you some extra cash for doing so I would have Hiddenidentity, sorry :(

Circle does look very good, seems very straightforward to use...

Drop the cash via paypal once you get to 100 points on opinion outpost there's no point leaving it sitting there. Put it in a savings account emergency fun, or pay a fiver off debts etc.

The reason i say not to store it is i once got burnt by a survey website that folded and 3-4 months worth of work went up the swanny. Plus its in Martins rules

Survey sites: The DOs & DON'Ts

Before you become a survey stasher, there are a few things worth knowing. Remember, patience and consistency are key virtues.

DO set up a dedicated email address
DON'T expect to be instantly rolling in it
    DO spend gift vouchers ASAP
    DON'T tell porkies
DON'T forget to check your emails
    DO keep a log
    DON'T forget tax
DO complain via Facebook and Twitter
    DON'T pay to join
    DO refer a friend
DON'T worry too much about screenouts
