Thank you folks for prayers and well wishes. Please keep them coming
She is in a very dark place at the moment, this is a particularly hard time of year for her as her Mum passed four years ago this coming weekend.
She has retreated into herself and is hiding away from everyone, will not come to the door and when we call, she ignores the calls... and then she will text to say that she's ok and for us all to leave her "the f alone".
The few friends that she still has and myself have not known her to be this bad for a while. We are leaving her be until after this weekend is past and I plan to visit on Monday and hope to see her then.
Thankfully, one of her girl friends stays only across the street from her so she is keeping everyone up to speed with what's happening as best she can.
Usually, she comes back out of these dark times after a few days and apologises to everyone for being a weirdo psycho-!!!!! again and we are hoping that this will be the same again. And yes, she is in receipt of treatment, support, therapy and counselling etc.
Sorry for going on. Just wanted folks to have a bit of an idea of what's happening so as you can perhaps understand how difficult things can be.

I can understand having been in a similar position as yourself some years ago. I do hope she comes out of this episode soon and puts your mind at rest. I'll be thinking of you both.

Maybe worth a call to her cpn if things don't improve after the weekend?

I won't pretend to understand what its like from your position, but from hers she won't be thinking how it's making you and her friends feel right now, only when she's back out the otherside will she start to realise. You are doing everything you can by just letting her know you are there when she is ready x take care

Throwing myself into the decorating work this weekend folks so, as I said, I wont be on the board much.

New carpets are getting fitted Monday.

Will be back to usual service by Tuesday... promise

Hi folks,

Just popping on for a quick nosey and a wee update.

Busy prepping for tomorrow's BIG JOB.

I went into the Carpet shop and paid the remaining balance for the job yesterday morning.

Yesterday afternoon I had to cut about 20mm off the bottom of my bedroom door to help ensure that there was room to fit carpet under it... had to buy a jig-saw to do this but it was on my budget of needed tools as I am also planning on shelving a large walk in cupboard that I have here.

I have just about everything ready, only need to make sure that Living Room is as clear as possible. The only things I cannot shift myself are the two sofas, so hoping the lads don't mind helping to shift them out into the close in the morning... The rest of the Living Room contents can be shifted into the Bedroom or out in the close and then put back when Living Room carpet is down. Then the contents of the Bedroom will also be shifted out to Living Room or the close and the Bedroom and Hallway carpets fitted. Then everything can be shifted back to its designated room and I will sort them all back into their places and clean and tidy up...
Be well worth it when it is all done...

So, all going well today I will be able to power down for this afternoon as there won't be anything much needing done until tomorrow morning.
