Glad your lass is over the worst of it.. I know when I'm going downhill I tend to withdraw from people and just need me time to spend on my own. Those closest to me understand that and those who don't.. Well they can stay away.
And at least you have something to aim for once the debt is gone
Have a lovely weekend.Chandelier.

This is something that my lass has come to realise through discussions with her therapist / support worker and group session work. There has been a recent change with the therapy/support team here (new personnel with loads of experience) and I really like what the new team are doing for her.
Whilst she was taking her "time out" she still attended all her sessions and the team worked really closely with her. She says that they helped her to realise that she is much stronger psychologically and emotionally than she thought she was. Through group work sessions she was able to see for herself that working with other people to accomplish things was not as scary and difficult as she thought it would be and was actually able to comfort and support a new member who as she put it was "even worse" than her
She seems to have her "sparkle" back and reminds me so much of the beautiful person that she was when I first met her over 20 years ago (I keep reminding her that she always will be a beautiful person to me). It is great to see her coming back out of her shell again and it is certainly much more positive than previous times.
We talked about our plans for the summer and whether or not we should try and get away together, just the two of us, for a hiking and wild camping trip up North.
She is all for it and we hope to get arrangements sorted so that we can get away for end of the month
Now I need to get into my housework...
Be back soon(ish)

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

What a positive update. It's definitely helpful when the team are supportive and encouraging. Sometimes you just don't know what's in you until your faced with hard times.
A camping trip sounds lovely and gives you both something to look forward to.Chandelier.

Nice reading that other folks are doing well on their journeys

In about three weeks time I will be paying my application fee and setting out on the sequestration trail.
Although I will be discharged from my sequestration/bankruptcy after a year, for the next four years I will have to make a manageable contributory payment via my IP/Trustee.
My finances will be reviewed by my IP/Trustee every six-months. Generally, nothing really changes unless there are major changes to my finances and/or circumstances.
The good thing is after the full process is done I will be debt free.
I won't be able to obtain any credit for a long time but by then I hope to be canny enough with my money that it will not matter as I never want to use credit ever again.
Hope everyone has had a good day today :ABUGGRITMILLENIUMHANDANDSHRIMP I TOLD EM! - Foul Ole Ron
