    TFI Friday :D YAY!

Coming to the end of another week and the weekend is in sight...

Have work to do for the wee mammy tomorrow, which hopefully won't take me too long.

Planning to work through my income / expenditure worksheets to see what further cuts may be made.

Also have a de-clutter project on the go; clothes and things that are no longer used for the chazza.

Anyhoo, back to what I'm supposed to be doing ;)

    Have a grand day folks

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Make sure you get at least a couple of hours to put your feet up this weekend, you can't run on empty.

Get well wishes to your wee mammy.

    Have a great weekend :)

Take care of yourself this week :)
If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

    Morning Folks

Woke up this morning to the sad news of the passing of Stephen Hawking. The man was and is a true inspiration and example of triumph over adversity.

Yet another busy day ahead, much to do as usual. Really trying hard to re-establish the usual routines back into my days after the recent upheaval of work, weather and caring for mammy (who thankfully is getting back to her usual chirpy self).

Apologies to all for the drop in posts and lack of much input over the past wee while. Hoping to get back into the swing of things again.

    Anyhoo, onwards and upwards :D

I have a coffee and a new day begins

    Have a great day folks

    A wee bit o fun ;D

Myself and my team are having a wee discussion (occasional arguments) about who could possibly play who in the proposed series of The watch...

    So far the contenders are;

Commander Sam Vimes - Sean Pertwee, Sean Bean, Hugh Laurie, James Nesbitt...

Sgt Fred Colon - Bill Bailey, Nick Frost, Peter Kay...

    Cpl Nobby Nobbs - ???

    Carrot - ???

Angua - Ingrid Bolso Berdal :D

    Lady Sybil - Miranda Hart

We've gotten this far and I've had to throw them out the department for lunch now :D

I know we have a fair number of SirTP fans on here so, any suggestions to throw in here ???

I knew you would respond :rotfl:

It is really difficult to cast something like this as everyone has their own idea as to what the character looks like... for example I would love to see Sean Pertwee as Vimes as he has both the soft hearted aspects of Sam's character as well as the hard as nails streetwise side. One of my colleagues also suggested him as Wilikins ( Sam's / Sybil's butler).

The only character we all agreed on that really looked the part was the lovely Ingrid Bolso Berdal as Angua (we have two lassies in our department btw who also agreed that she was spot on ;) )

We are still at a loss for Nobby and Carrot :( We are trying to stick with known British actors...
