I have found a LARGE unknown file on my C:\Windows\LiveKernal folder called POW32kwatchdog
I have googled this name and found one German site that mentions it https://www.win-10-forum.de/windows-10-allgemeines/39936-c-windows-livekernelreports-pow32kwatchdog-20170417-0936-dmp.html
What is it and what does it do ?
I don't speak German
It is 844Mb in size - I reckon (hope) that it is linked to the update because it was not there previously
Please try to post one tech problem per thread, e.g. this one is about Creators edition
We do not speak German either but Google translate doesThanks, don't you just hate people with sigs !0 -
Also Classic Shell doesn't like 1703 - it keeps on having problem starting up - leaving me with MS abysmal menu system - complete with many apps that I will never use and yet are uninstallable !!
And - a major issue (that everyone should check) - System Restore was turned OFF by default on updating (I am sure that, previously - it was ON)
I put Classic Shell on my wife's PC when she had Win 8. It worked nicely there, but the W10 menu system is perfectly okay without it, and I removed it. So, I am curious why you need it at all?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I prefer the classic menu - I have been used to it since Win 95 days and previously - it is a matter of taste !!0
