This is one near where I grew up - it's the house I always wanted because it "could" be lovely inside (in fact it once was :()

These are the new and improved particulars!! Originally it had 1 pic - it's a double fronted semi and the pic just showed the front door and 1 window through the winter hedge!! And the first set of details basically just said 6 bed house in need of total makeover. Wonder why it's been on the market forever - the EA's won't touch it at that price :D

I particularly love the broken pelmet in the living room. Apparently she can't show pics of the other rooms as there's so much crap in the house you can't get in (Kim and Aggie would have a field day!!)

If I had 200k to throw at the house, I'd buy it, but even done up it's not worth more than 500k

Does unusual refer to the home or the family?

Possibly both but I have to admit I don't know them personally.

You'd have thought the vendors would have worked out it's over-priced by now. The adjoining house, although no 2 bed annexe, has been kept in tip top condition with fab bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms etc with a beautiful big garden. The owner told me that the valuations they had just after this one went on the market were between 450-520K!!

TBH the tractor is a far nicer pic than number 10 ;):D

    My local favourite is this:

    http://www.findaproperty.com/displayprop.aspx?edid=00&salerent=0&pid=584869&agentid=07645

The EA says it is in need of cosmetic improvement... if I was viewing it I'd wonder if they had stripped the copper piping out along with the rest of the kitchen.
