if labour cancelled brexit would you vote them into power?

noLabour are indeed hoping to win votes by what would effectively be overturning the referendum (albeit they are using their usual weasel words to avoid actually stating that).

I rest my case.
When are remoaners going to wakeup and realise that there is no 'soft' brexit. if you want to be part of the single market and customs union you need to remain in the EU, there is no other option. Labour saying what they have effectively means the UK would remain in the EU if they were elected.0 -
I don't believe they wouldEnterprise_1701C wrote: »Can you imagine what the new terms would be if we rejoined. Not only would that be for starters, it would also be the end.
Or are you talking about the 2022 general election and if a pro-EU party was elected then?0 -
noNo. Although Brexit means we will all be worse off than if we'd stayed, a Labour government would mean most of us would be even worse off.Every generation blames the one before...

Why kind of question is THAT?
For the record, I don't want BREXIT cancelled OR Labour in power with Corbyn running the country. He is an awful leader and will bring the country to its knees. Even his own MPs can't stand him, and the party is crashing and burning. Can you lefties not see that?
I take it you are a NO then?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

Well, the UK could rejoin EFTA and apply for EEA membership that way. As per article 128 of the EEA agreement.;
Any European State becoming a member of the Community shall, and the Swiss Confederation or any European State becoming a member of EFTA may, apply to become a party to this Agreement. It shall address its application to the EEA Council.
The EU customs union is something different; there are non-EU bits of Europe that are in the customs union, and EU bits of Europe that are not.... Labour saying what they have effectively means the UK would remain in the EU if they were elected.
They may well be trying to give that impression. It's not necessarily either practical or achievable.0 -
I live in South Wales, which is obviously very much a labour strong hold, the Conservative party is not liked here, my personal opinion is labour are just as bad as the conservatives when it comes to Wales but a lot here don't see it that way. (I'm voting conservative btw)
Anyway a lot of people I know, who are the born labour, die labour sort voted for brexit so if labour did a u turn on brexit, it could do the same damage to the Labour Party here that Thatcher did to the conservatives with the miners.0
