Schadenfreude has been renamed 'doing an Osborne'.
He's on the ITV coverage and struggling to hide his glee.0 -
At least one of the opinion polls will be correct this time.
Given how wide apart they were, one had to be!'I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father. Not screaming and terrified like his passengers.' (Bob Monkhouse).
Sky? Believe in better.
Note: win, draw or lose (not 'loose' - opposite of tight!)0 -
What does this mean for Brexit? I think parliament will reach an impasse on any negotiated deal."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0

That was my point. They were like pundits suggesting 41 winners for the grand national."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -

The dear leader's reaction to the "difficult, strong and stable woman" in the Brexit negotiations post landslide victory....0

If exit poll is right isn't a minority conservative government most likely ?0

Do you think Europe will let us delay Brexit negotiations until we actually elect a government that will be in a strong enough position to actually be able to negotiate with some authority?
If these polls are correct, the Tories will go down in history of pulling off 2 terrible own goals in quick succession. First they run an appalling campaign to keep us in Europe, then when they sort themselves out somewhat to get in a position negotiate that exit, they screw up again by calling an unnecessary election where it looks even if they do manage to cobble together a government, they will be negotiating from a seriously week position.
If its a hung parliament we basically have no one to lead in anything.
Not so much take back control, more like total loss of control.
Off on holiday on Saturday, glad I am already well stocked up on Euros0
