As posts can be edited at any time there was absolutely no need to delete the whole thing if the only purpose was to remove the content which might identify the OP. As others have said, removing a post after people have replied to it is grossly discourteous. It's precisely because of that behaviour that so many people have resorted to quoting OPs in full in their replies.

As has been said, deleting the original post after others have taken the trouble to respond is grossly discourteous.
And yet reposting something that the OP had deleted is seen as perfectly acceptable, even laudable. sheesh. Clowns....

Here, yes, op knows now, you do too, just like your post i quoted for example. It will remain here for as long as the forum lasts, as long as we all bear that in mind next time, there will be no problem.

The lesson for all posters to learn from this is to be very careful when posting about work related issues. Certainly don't directly identify the employer, and wherever possible keep the information as generic as possible whilst providing sufficient for people to be able to give a reasoned answer.
When I joined, the username I used had the potential to make me identifiable to my employer at DWP so I go the admins to change it for me. I was posting accurate information, but some of my opinions wouldn't go down too well. Better safe than sorry!
