And you have been reported to the haven of d*cks. It's not personal abuse, it's a statement of fact. A man of integrity doesn't go reinstating a post someone wanted removed. You are just one of those d*cks who think making threats of 'reporting' someone allows you to be a d*ck. You are still a d*ck. Doesn't change this fact.

What did MSE say when you raised this issue with them in feedback sub forum?

You really need to specify what game you're playing, OP. Different bosses require handling in different ways. Luckily for you, there are endless resources online to help you with your preparation.

Firstly, you must be in the best of health. It's worth some health backups where possible. The difficulty arises when you have to balance health with other tools, i.e potions or weapons.

Here is one of my favourite boss battles:

Personally, I like to wear a red suit and hover boots, it's more difficult, but that's just for fun. What really matters is your technique.

Best of luck with your boss fights, I'm being like totally serious.

    You forgot one crucial step:

Retrieving the master sword!! Note to OP: you need at least 12 full hearts :)

Though OP's situation is more like the 1-1 duels between the 'hero' and Luca Blight in Suikoden 2

(tip to OP, if your boss says "pig!! die!!" then they are planning a wild attack on you and the best strategy is to defend :) You'll have to play a few fights to figure out what all of the other dialogue means :) )

    Hi,
In case anyone forgot, im the one who started this thread.

First of all I don't appreciate my question being reposted and that action plus a few replies strike me as being the opposite of what the post and the forum tries to achieve and that is helpful. The guy who reposted it and his subsequent posts strike me as someone being vindictive.

I may have deleted it to protect myself as there are details which , whilst not conclusive as to my identity, would be very obvious to anyone who i work with as to who posted it. Hopefully they never stumble across it, if they haven't already.

I haven't read everything, but just to update, the thread strikes me as negative, and getting at me as a person. I was very unwell. I did point that out, but for a reason. I was loyal to the business and still am. I still have my condition, and still remember past problems. But i still do the best i can at work . I have also gained a lot from the business in return. I appreciate my position.

The manager in question has since been removed from the team due to wider disputes...

The title of my thread was unfortunate, in that it relates to games.

    Regards.

As far as I can see "ohreally" reposted it....

His (can't it be a woman?) subsequent post involved defending themselves in a polite manner against someone who swore at them (not you). Genuinely feel sorry for "ohreally" at this time if you call them "vindictive".... :o

Don't post stuff on a public forum then....

Besides, google cache stores the information and this can be retrieved fairly easily. The "vindictive" user called "ohreally" is just making the task easier :)

Oh dear, I think you may need a health potion... :rotfl:

    It was fun though :)

Though in fairness you shouldn't have made this follow-up post if you were worried; it just brings it back into focus for a while longer!

Why do you feel the need to dissect my reply? And dissect it in a negative and condescending way.

"oh dear i think you need a health potion" , are you here for entertainment , to argue and chastise.. or to be respectful and help people? As i did not go into my health status and condition why would you feel the need to ridicule. You don't know how minor or severe it is?

What i have written may not be perfect.. and i am not perfect. But i assumed that as i am requesting advice anonymously on a respectable forum, my imperfections may be forgiven and taken with a pinch of salt and just help.

I dont mind drawing attention back to a thread that i seem to have no control over anyway, with my initial post reposted. I didn't do anything wrong, and i only did my best in the situation. Thankfully it has been resolved. I can get back to doing my best at work and a job i appreciate.

I wont reply again as there is no need to.

    Regards.

I don't get the whole "dissect" thing! The polar opposite is "cherry picking".

Be appreciative that I took the time to address all of your points, even if I was being very light-hearted in response!

I am here for entertainment. Besides, your follow-up post was having a pop at people and you didn't actually want any further help! So what do you expect?!

Maybe you need a mana potion instead?

I don't give a monkeys because it did not form part of your initial post. You ever heard the phrase "let sleeping dogs lie"? Apparently not, considering you felt the need to make your most recent post on here!

I'm not perfect either. Which is why I posted some zelda and suikoden 2 pictures. It makes me happy to have a bit of light-hearted banter!

If you genuinely "requesting advice anonymously" then why the follow up message having a pop at a user who quoted your deleted message? Just leave it and trust that your post was made "anonymously"!

    Sound!

But you could have achieved that by not making a follow up post in the first place!!!

As has been said, deleting the original post after others have taken the trouble to respond is grossly discourteous. This is a public forum so, if you choose to use it, you are by definition discussing things on a public platform.

It is very difficult indeed to permanently delete anything you post online so perhaps there is a valuable life lesson there.

You might also keep in mind that not everybody who says something you don't agree with is being negative or vindictive. Sometimes the best advice is that which you least want to hear.

Thanks but there is no need. My day job takes me into contentious and charged situations, I have a skin beyond rhino hide.
