    OP is best to head over the Sky community forums, I have seen a few posts on there that will help (or post your own of course).

    As mentioned, the speed will be dependant on how far you are from the main BT Cabinet (as the house is STILL connected to it via the same copper, its only fibre to the new cabinet adj to it). It could also depend on interference on the line or a myriad of other issues.

    If you post your router stats either here or on sky forums, someone will give you an idea if that speed is acceptable for the noise and attenuation on the line.

    We are about 150 yards from the box and get [via ethernet cable] 73/19 and [wifi] 40 to 60 / 15 to 18 (DL / UL) on a fibre line that at its max can only take 80/20 if I lived right next to the box.
