can anyone help please 're royal mail zebra gk430d printer

I have spoken with Royal Mail and they suggested I use Click and Drop. Done some reading and it appears to interface with EBay and Amazon and gives them despatch info. I don't want to give eBay the information to use against me for late deliveries, so is this the system I need ?

Is Click and Drop the system everyone else uses ?

I don't use C&D, I use DMO. I think Soolin uses C&D. You can turn off the notifications within C&D so the tracking isn't uploaded to the eBay order.

Edit - yes my memory serves me well. Soolin does use it and I even gave help on turning off the notifications!

It's ridiculous the effort we have to go to in order to jump through ebays hoops.

They suggested I use click and stop as I was already using OBA.

As soon as I generate the label it notifies the item has been dispatched. I normally do them early in the morning. And then drop them off at our local sorting office between 11.30 and 12pm.

I have it intergrated with eBay accounts

I think that's what I'll be doing. Are you getting any late delivery strikes ? I offer a one day despatch window with second class post.

Yes, you will get late delivery marks with the automated dispatch notification on click and drop. You need to turn it off.

I have a 1-2 day dispatch time . So far I haven't had any low dispatch time strikes. I don't know whether it's because I am taking them direct to the sorting office by dinner time????

But I will start keeping an eye on it now ..if others having problems.

My lates were all removed apart from one, so I have re set the click and drop to upload the delivery information again as I find it easier to have the delivery number easily to hand in case of an INR. I do keep a very close eye on my dashboard though and am prepared to unlink it again should the situation change.

EDIT; I've just rechecked and the last 'late' has also now gone, so eBay do seem to be doing something behind the scenes. That last 'late' though lingered for a couple of weeks and was still there when I checked on Friday before I went on holiday.

sorry to resurrect an old thread but can anyone with a Zebra GK420d tell me what labels I need to order please from RM and supply a link. I asked RM but when th elabels arrived (2 lots ordered now) they are the wrong ones- so I'm obviously doing something wrong and my label stock is running very low.

Any links would be appreciated

I think I struggled to find them so ended up phoning the Click and Drop helpline 08452 661004 and ordered 3 rolls, but they sent 6 so have a few spare.
