This new delivery confirmation on RM parcels has an unfortunate side effect, despite my items going earlier than stated in my listings I'm picking up amber blobs for 'tracking indicates late delivery' on all my accounts, business and private. I sell very little on my private account and have never had a late defect, so this is a real concern .
I currently for instance have a 3 day dispatch on my private account but almost always send next working day- yet apparently this is not good enough :eek: With such low sales it won't take a lot to reach the 4% to fall below standard
I can't remove the delivery confirmations as I am using a RM business account linked to my various accounts so the confirmation information is added automatically.
The other issue is that these blobs appear even when feedback isn't left by the buyer, so as fewer and fewer people leave feedback but the system adds an amber blob anyway, the percentage of lates is going to rocket.

You can change the settings, this came up on the PS board the other day, if you change it, it will not upload the tracking. I will try and find it.0

1) Click on the "settings" tab in the top right and side of the screen when logged into Click & Drop
2) Click on the "Channels and Stores" box
3) Click on your Ebay store, that is displayed in the list.
4) Un-tick the box that says "Mark orders as dispatched" and press the blue "update" button.
5) Job Done!
When I had the exact same problem you had, I went to "settings", then clicked on the "Templates" box...
I then unticked the box that said "mark order as dispatched when label is generated", thinking that would do the job...
It didn't though and all that did, was it didn't mark the order as dispatched in Click & Drop, but still uploaded the 2D barcode number to Ebay.
Make sure you've done it the way I've said above and the 2D barcode number won't upload.
Consensus seems to be that not adding the RM tracking stops the blobs.0 -
Are eBay's delivery estimates really more than 2 days out? Or are they applying their incorrect estimates of RM timing to your actual dispatch time ?0

theonlywayisup - thank you, I'll give that a try. I can't cope with ebay now deciding that sending 2 days early is a defect and that 4% approaches darn quickly when I sell so little and get virtually no feedback left on my private account.

Goodness knows what ebay are doing, I don't think even they themselves know.
An example from my private account is a 3 day dispatch 2nd class when I actually posted next day and yet I get an orange blob. I haven't bene on the ebay community boards for a while, but I know people were saying that the new 2d delivery confirmation updates slowly, so it might even be the delay in the system uploading - personally I still blame ebay for having such daft and nonsensical defect rules. Strangely my ebay ones do upload the delivery dispatch number on the rare occasion I forgo my business account and print direct and I assume that I won't be able to stop those ones as it is integrated.
