This house's fireplace has been removed. I kind of like it removed. However, some people said it will affect the resale price in the future. Most people like to have a fireplace, is this true?

Won't make a blind bit of difference. From your poll of "some people" - one said they wanted a fireplace. You said you prefer no fireplace. And that will be reflected in the populous - about 50/50

No idea without seeing them. Otherwise it's like choosing a car blind and only going by a list of features

Your house is unlikely to be perfect - the fireplace could be put back if someone was really fussed. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

In the end, everyone has different priorities/dealbreakers when buying a property. I would have preferred a house with a fireplace but two bathrooms and the ability to be in London zone 1 in 15 minutes from our front door was far more important to us.
