Very true. My son worked for VW Rectification in Emden, Germany a few years ago repairing brand new export VW's (many on their way to the UK). Some were quite severely damaged - collisions during loading, falling off transporters etc. Repairs were obviously up to manufacturer standard, cars fully warranted and nobody any the wiser.0 -

However, it is still to the OP's detriment.
