I have seen posters picked-on too often in these forums as a result of information posted, sadly.

You're taking this far too seriously. As I remember Mr. Generali saying once - if you're upset by stuff on the internet you ought to try the other internet where all the nice people are.0 -

Psychic too, since you have no idea just who is taking what how seriously.
What drivel.
You may think it is fine to derail a thread with perpetual sniping at other posters but having responded for a while now I will decline in further participation.
By all means however continue alone if no-one else decides to "nibble".0 -

When the poster has expressed a desire for that not to be known it appears more than a little strange TBH.
Just saying.0 -

2 observations.
1) I noticed threads kept getting deleted and so I suspect this deters thread creation.
2) Every forum I've ever been party to ALWAYS has people saying the forum has gone down hill. I see threads on this very topic everywhere, from music production forums to Anglng forums, it's par for the course.
Look out for a thread five years hence claiming the forum of now was better.
It's like people saying music and film was better in thier day, it's just something we say.
I was merely commenting on the reduced forum activity I have seen compared to how it was before. That's not nostalgia just a noticeable decrease in new posts nowadays. The previous posters have explained why.0 -

I wonder if some of his trades were dependent on a remain vote. I wouldn't have thought someone living in Oz would care so much ?Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.0 -

I used to work with a bloke from Dundee, who occasionally used to go on a rant about the time when "eh fun eh fleh in meh peh!" He used to engage in absolutely incomprehensible (to the rest of us) banter with a woman from Aberdeen (or "Furryboots City" - for the benefit of those not in the know, it relates to the question asked by an Aberdonian, curious about a stranger's place of birth "Furryboots ur yie frae?").
I'm going to stop now as I'm in danger of slipping into a typed version of Stanley Baxter's "Parliamo Glasgow".......
