    Thank you Cherryfudge.
I haven't been great. On Monday i broke down at work. On Tuesday i gave in and went to the doctors, i had a panic attack in the waiting area and was in tears in the doctors office. I now have anti d's and hope to feel better in the next few weeks. I could have had a sick note but with the agoraphobia it was recommended i try going in. The first couple of shifts weren't nice but was a bit better yesterday.

On Thursday it was DD2 party, I still wasn't great, i bought all food ready made and spent a fortune! I just didn't have the energy to make it all (I did sandwiches, fruit kebabs and choc strawberries but bought all cakes, sausage roll and juice cartons) There was quite a bit left that the children have been eating as snacks.

We have been snowed in today so nothing spent. I've made the children help do half hour tidying in the living room and their bedrooms. If anyone comes in it's still a huge tip but it's a big improvement on what it was. I did shout at the girls though, the washing that has come out is going to take at least 6 loads to get through it and 2 bags of rubbish.

Sorry it's not really a debt busting post, not much of that gone on this week.

{{{hugs}}} for the tough time you are having. Hopefully once the anti-ds kick in you will find life easier. Certainly you shouldn't have to go on as things were.

If I were you I'd just draw a line under the party spending. You do what you have to, to make it happen, DD had her party and you do get 'free' snacks out of it.

It's amazing what comes out of a room sometimes! I think it's parsniphead who ended up financially better off when her son had a huge clear out which included lots of change. It's so nice when the room is all clean and tidy later too.

Here's hoping for a better day for you tomorrow (I mean later today) x

  • Thank you. Really hoping to have a bit more energy soon.

I've checked the banks and nothing has changed. I didn't have a delivery yesterday as i knew the snow was due but had plenty for school this morning. Will need to fetch something for tea though.

Children have gone to school with a £1 each for sports relief. They are doing activities in the hall before school, i have all on getting them there for 9, no chance they will be there by 8.40 to do sports.

Need to sort gymnastic and swimming bags and get ready for work.

Yesterday was a NSD. Need to go shopping today though.

The headlight went in the car last night, we have the bulb already. DH tried to open the bonnet to do it and it wont open, the catch has broke. He's just gone to the garage to see if he can get it opened. March is turning in to an expensive month!

Hope the garage can open the bonnet and fix the catch! Good that you already have the bulb though.

    How are you feeling? x

  • Thanks Cherry, he's just rang from the garage round the corner and it isn't open so he's venturing in to town.

I'm feeling a bit better today, thank you. I Seem to be in a 'stuff it' mood. If the car had had problems a week ago i'd have probably sat and cried but today it's just an 'it's happened and the funds are there to cover it'.
I also slept for a good few hours last night which has probably helped.

Still need to sort the boiler though, cant keep having cold showers. Might have to start emptying the utility room today so someone can get in there to it.

Maybe your fighting spirit is coming to the rescue? :) Great that you have funds ready for these eventualities, it makes such a difference.

Definitely 'no' to cold showers, unless it's a heat wave. You never know what interesting things may come to light while clearing out a utility room, so that sounds like a good plan.

  • DH is back, well the car is! It's been on the front for a good while with no sign of DH. Our bin is halfway up the garden so i'm guessing he's took PIL back and is chatting (they live directly across the road).

Will definitely be nothing good in there Cherryfudge, maybe boxes of card and wrapping paper from Christmas that hasn't made it to the bin yet and piles of towels/bedding i've pulled out of the dryer and couldn't be bothered to fold and put away (insert shamed face here, lol).
Before anyone phones social services the kiddies are having regular hot showers at swimming, i'm not that mean to make them get in it.

Oh no boo to cold showers. That's not good. We haven't been able to have showers unless it was light outside for about a year now. We could still have baths though in the dark. But the lights had gone in the shower room but I couldn't get anyone to come in and fix it until I had sorted out the loft! I finally did that and now we can have showers again whatever time of day it is! So I feel your pain on sorting out the utility room before you can get someone to look at the boiler. Hope the car wasn't too expensive.
