    Are they a sureshop merchant?
If so then you are guaranteed a response within a month.

You won't necessarily get a immediate response but that doesn't necessarily mean that nothing is happening.

Even surshop Merchants tend to take a long time, While i accept that cash back is a freebie it is becoming standard to get cashback with so many sites doing it. I just hope some get there act together. Hopefully as competition increase so will their services and these that don’t make the mark fall away. Personally I don’t like quidco and I am still in search of one that will deliver. For now these cash back companies have it easy not too much competition and take the users for granted

  • I posted on their "quidblog" when I didnt get a response from the ticket I sent them. (check the lastest post in there and you will probably find my message). They replied quickly to my ticket after that but my transaction is still "awaiting processing", despite promising to get it sorted quickly. The one I used, Natwest Home Insurance, is offering £120 and therefore it means my home insurance is only £16 for a year. The others won't accept online orders for listed buildings or were more expensive.

I am still hopeful as they seem to have had a genuine problem tracking - it used to be around 60% and is now 75% with 80+% of enquiries successful - this has certainly gone up.

Quidco do report how many are declined after enquiry - with the % which are "not successful" on the enquiry statistics.

In June I made a transaction through quidco for house insurance lured by their high cashback promise. It didn't track (although a couple of smaller test transactions did).

I made an enquiry, but it has been 'pending' ever since and quidco doesn't respond.

I shall stay with Rpoints in future, they are reliable, their site shows where the transaction is up to, and they are quick to answer queries.

I had a similar problem with TopCashBack, but after I submitted an enquiry they did get me the full cashback due.

When your page is loading you will see /affiliate3768 (or similar) or /Quidco written at the end of the address bar indicating that the site has registered where you have been directed from.

  • To make sure you have the best chance of quidco or other cashback transactions tracking, use a completely new firefox/opera profile. That's what I do. And it automatically removes cookies when I close it - homepage is set to quidco so its ready to go. Takes a few seconds extra but it seems to work 99% of the time now.

I got loads of plugins in my normal firefox profile including javascript and advert blockers
which can play havoc with tracking.

Best to get yourself a copy of firefox, you just might like it!

I got some good news yesterday - the Natwest say they WILL pay my cashback, now I just got to wait for quidco to get the cash ;)

I had same problem with Barclays Home insurance! Took out car insurance with Lloyds TSB pretty much same time, money came through no problem, but have not heard anything since March about my enquiry with Barclays. Now they don't even offer incentives through quidco, so not holding my breath about seeing the money...next time will definitely NOT go with them though!

My Theaa (sureshop) enquiry went to sent to merchant today almost 2 months now another 2-3 months before i get a reply. LOL quidco is a joke i cant belive they are still in business they are the worst cashback comoany i have ever come across what good is it if they say thei pay out 100% commision and half your transactions fall trough. i would rather get 50% commision and have all my transactions go trough smoothley and better customer services.
