My Lloyds TSB insurance cashback has just been 'added' from July, after an enquiry that dragged on for quite a while.
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j

I bought Car Insurance through quidco this year in June, the cash back has onlt just appeared in my bank account, so it took 3 months......I only go to quidco using firefox..........how do you clear cookies when you leave a site?????
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.
  • Quidco have declined my insurance cashback with Lloyds too.

Basically the quidco account is in my name and pays into a joint account with my wife.
The insurance policy we bought is in her name but names me on the policy.
Quidco claim the cashback claim is void since the quidco account may not be used for purchases by friends and family.

In other words, the insurance is not for me. Except it is, it's for my household. Have emailed back but no reply as yet, after all only been 2 weeks!

They are very bad in that sense. They don’t respect or accept that most households including married couples have shared accounts.
    Lets not use quidco

I've recently joined Quidco, and I've found them to be OK - just waiting for my tracked earnings to be paid.

In fact, I thought I'd lost out on tracking a hotel room booking made through Quidco with LateRooms.com, but when checking my earnings today, I've found that it did come through after all, which is a bonus!
  • The response I received from Quidco to an enquiry is a joke. To summarise; I bought the AA breakdown cover for my girlfriend and was due cashback of over £20. I had to use her address and details on the AA web pages so it was her covered. When the cashback was first declined I supplied details of the transaction explaining why the AA would have some different details to the Quidco account but the payment details would be mine. This is the pathetic response I received:

"Hi there, I'm afraid that as the terms and conditions of Quidco state that accounts are for individual use only
(http://www.quidco.com/help/25/), we won't be able to support this enquiry. If your friends and family wish to take advantage of the cashback that Quidco offers, please ask them to register their own accounts. Kind regards, Quidco"

I purchased the breakdown cover with my own funds, which is on record with the merchant (AA), so how does this breach any Quidco terms? They closed the ticket and there seems to be no way of challenging their decision.

Is it a case that ANY PURCHASES made via Quidco can only be for oneself ? In which case nobody should do any Xmas present shopping via them

Also what happens with the referral commission now? How do I know Quidco haven't just dumped the enquiry and profited?

And there’s more…..I’d also made a Comet 'click and collect' purchase via the Quidco. Collected a Dyson in store with the reference number that was emailed to me. All seemed ok, it was tracking for the right amount (3.5%) but after a few days it changed status to "declined". Being male I'm not a huge fan of Dysons (or any other vacuum cleaners) so I'll hold my hands up and admit that it was primarily for the girlfriend to use. Quite how Quidco knew this I'm not sure

I've logged another enquiry but I’ve lost all faith in Quidco. It's become a pain to follow up cashback with them.

I've never had anything declined with RPoints! Even when I used it with the girlfriend again who got her car insurance and we got the cashback even though the account is in my name but she paid for the car insurance in her name and address.

    It’s time to Quito Quidco.
