Quidco Grrrr

In June I made a transaction through quidco for house insurance lured by their high cashback promise. It didn't track (although a couple of smaller test transactions did).
I made an enquiry, but it has been 'pending' ever since and quidco doesn't respond.
I shall stay with Rpoints in future, they are reliable, their site shows where the transaction is up to, and they are quick to answer queries.

I have never read anywhere on the Quidco website where they promise cashback. Just that they will pass on all cashback they receive from the merchant. There are also factors that are beyond their control that will affect whether a purchase tracks or not, is this possible? http://www.quidco.com/help/77/
Did you also submit all the information required so the merchant could cross reference and verify it was you? Quidco may have been in touch via email but the message was delivered straight to your Spam inbox?
Of course you could have done all in your power and the merchant is just being very slow in responding to Quidco. I would email them one last time.0 -
Quidco seems to be having a lot of transactions fall trough even after they have tracked, it would be nice if Quidco showed the stats regarding how many transactions that have been tracked are declined.Lets not use quidco0

I ordered train tickets today (£52.40 in total). It's been about 6 hours since i ordered them, but quidco is not yet showing them as tracked :-(
It says they have a 0 day average for tracking. I've had loads of orders from thetrainline.com through quidco and this is the first time I have had a problem.
I'll give them an email or a enquiry thingy.Amo L'Italia0 -
After 6 hours you are going to email with an enquiry and chase your cashback :rotfl:0

I know its a bit late this time but try and buy a month before you need it, if it hasn't tracked after 2 weeks max then cancel and try a different company. You can't go wrong with carpet bombing...0 -

You wont be able to put in an enquiry until 2 weeks have passed.
It's been said time and time again - delete cookies before going to site, and ensure the address bar comesup with an affiliate type address while page is loading. I have never had anything not track, or not pay out after a making an enquiry."On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of." My hero, Mr Steer.0 -
The enquiry is a web based system - my last three e-mails have shown, but with no response from quidco. I provided everything they needed to track the transaction/follow it up - reeferance number, dates, address, etc etc. My query just says pending and all enquiries meet with no response. Quite honestly, I think they are a joke. Yes, perhaps they don't 'promise' cashback, but when their site says £125 cashback when clicking through their link, you at least expect a response when it doesn't happen.I have never read anywhere on the Quidco website where they promise cashback. Yes, I agree it is very poor service not to even respond. Not much else to do but wait and hope then.0
