Santander Regular Saver

Options
Grr, Santander quick enough to downgrade our accounts to the rubbish everyday ones today, but interest hasn't been added yet. Anyone else, and how long was the wait for interest payment?

I'd expect the interest to be added before downgrading, but can't you just wait until tomorrow? What difference does 1 day make for £70? Meanwhile, apply for new regular savers.

    No wait whatsoever!

Both my partner and myself had accounts which matured on March 26th. An Everyday Saver account appeared in place of each Regular Saver on the appointed day and each contained both the £2400 of contributions and the expected interest which was all transferred out to our 123 account. Replacement Regular Savers were opened online and the initial month's contributions made. Also done on the same day were requests to close the Everyday Savers made by secure message and this was completed the following day, along with another 33p in interest.

Overall, everything worked for us exactly as expected and all with 24 hours. How long have you been waiting? Sounds like you've a problem that needs to be flagged-up to Santander.

Only since this morning. Lol. But I would have expected the interest to have appeared in the replacement account as you say above.

I guess it can wait 24 hours if need be.

Regular eSaver is 5.00% for 1|2|3 World or Santander Select customers.

I have the standard 1|2|3 current account.
    I think I only get 2.5%. Can't be bothered .

I was confused a couple of days ago as to what an "1|2|3 World" account was and was quite pleased to see that the bog standard 1|2|3 account gave access (I havent had an email from Santander saying the rate had gone up yet).

Finding out from the Santander web site wasnt hard providing, of course, that there was any reason to look!
