He'll probably be in prison within the year, I'd not worry about it. Getting into a fight after alcohol with a mate isn't quite the same as having a serial killer next door. Not acceptable, but doesn't sound like much of a threat to you (or your future children).
All that research, and you never thought to knock next door? How long have you lived there? Especially as you said in a previous thread it was up with four agents. Didn't that ring alarm bells? Didn't you once think 'dodgy neighbours'?
You'd not had a survey done by 18 Feb. Average 3 months from offer to completion. Even if you did that and the rest in 4 weeks, you can't have been in more than a month.
Seems a bit of a drastic step to sell so quick.
Doubtful a lender will lend on it so look for a cash buyer - and as a buyer I'd not touch it with a bargepole after that short a time unless you had a genuine excuse that could be proven.

Seriously though, you can't live next door to people like that. It's especially surprising as I chose an area that is supposes to not have people like that.
Social Work teaches you many things, one of which is "people like that" come from all areas, all walks of life, all types of houses and all socio-economic groups.
I think you are SERIOUSLY over-reacting to a small, short, one off incident.0 -
The dream always gets tested and tested until reality takes over. Perfection doesn't exist and expecting it is stressful in itself. Unless the guy makes a regular appearance you'll soon forget the incident. You'll love the house all the more over time if the advantages continue to outweigh occasional irritations.0

I cant tell if this thread is a wind up?
Can I just add I am still loving our 2 bedroom shared ownership home, surrounded by other social and private housing which we didn't research by walking past both day and night.
It's our dream home because we are making it our dream home
I suggest you just enjoy your life and keep the blinds and windows closed0 -
i think you need to buy a house out in the sticks with no human contact.0
