  • Wow ! Thanks again :)
Lots going on . Gigervamp, the communal space is for all.
Good idea, about sighing on the outside by the road. That's where I'll be .
I must say , the place is well kept . Service charges mean I don't lift a finger :)
Was gonna have a coffee in ashley cross .. swamped.
Just sitting on the balcony .. mattress delivery . Had to pay for delivery .
I'm giving the Pilates machine to James . Makes sense, as I have no room for it . James is keeping an eye on Vodafone until he leaves around 1.30
He loves the way the flat has turned out .. especially the lime green lino in the kitchen . Something from a nuclear power plant :)

Although you don't have a balcony, at least you do have somewhere outside that you can sit in.
I was thinking that as well Gigervamp :T. AC is there a secure area downstairs you could store a reclining chair in? If so we may let you purchase one ;). If not, I'm sure someone will know of a lightweight fold up chair.

Aw AC, we were hoping for a few dramas over the Pilates machine disposal, can't believe you've got rid of it that easily :rotfl:.

From what I remember of your kitchen, it was 'fine', just a bit tired, so your cheap(ish) revamp and groovy lino will really have lifted it. I think it sounds great :T. Almost there now, I hope you feel well enough to start getting excited :j.

    Hello gally:)

I feel back on track now :) Could've done a Pilates type thread on its own . I probably spared you all a you tube video . What a sight that'd be :rotfl:
I bought a £10 metal chair to sit on via Argos , for something to actually sit on in an empty flat between painting . It'll be ideal for outside :)

Lol. £10 for a chair to sit on outside is something I can get on board with. Having walked 3 miles this morning, swam 20 lengths of my pool and spent half an hour in the spa I am now relaxing in the garden with a book and cold drink. I love summer.

Great you got rid of Pilates machine AC. How is flat looking now you have new furniture?

Just had bill from James , for kitchen .
    New taps/ sink / worktop / shelving ..£1,280 .
He didn't charge for doorstops he purchased for me and fitting them on . No complaints there . All I have to do is clean the cupboards.
Saved me getting a new kitchen .

Great to see you back AC and pleased you've been back to the flat and are sounding much more positive again. When do you move all your things from the storage company? Really excited for you!

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Great going AC! 2 more day and you'll be in.
Loved the idea from earlier about writing down your next three priorities and then putting them in a drawer for a week while you just finally relax and enjoy being a new mortgage free home owner!
