Also the one I currently have runs slower than snails having sex . Not enough ram

Please tell me I'm not the only one who thought this was funny :rotfl:.SaveA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Snails having sex versus Ram

The "ramming" action in copulation?0

So, what's been going on ?
I've had confirmation from payplan that all my payments are accepted and that I should only receive statements as usual from creditors telling the amount owing . It's only for record purposes , and I should not act ..just keep the paperwork .
One other thing to note , is that it will be another 6 years before my credit history is clear . I have received 2 letters from creditors ..
PRA group acknowledged my full and final . Wescot acknowledged my partial settlement . At the end of the day , it's all the same thing.
I've asked James to get a cabinet for the living room and assemble it.
This will get rid of the clutter / eyesore in the tv area. I've asked him to do one or two other jobs also. He still has to get shelf for the boiler room .
Speaking of that room , I've managed to make it clear and functional at last this afternoon . Trouble is, I've taken everything into the bedroom temporarily and it's a bit of a mess.
I have to put posters in frames and expect to have them on the kitchen and bedroom walls in the next couple of days .
I have a friend staying over either this sat , or next .
All dental work is now complete. However, as I'm paying a monthly fee I'm back in on the 28th for a checkup of some sort. I was told that as I'm paying monthly i may as well take it .
Other than that , I've not been dong much
Regarding the computer : I've waited for Tim crooks announcement . It's more or less all about the iPhone . I'm gonna get a new Mac when 'high sierra' is the main operating system . That's probably gonna be October . Then I will have a computer that's not tortoise like .
Hope all is well with you all0 -

Sounds like all is well - I'm pleased for you AC.
Yes, I think the iMac will be October's announcement - let me know when you're purchasing0 -
Thanks Anna
Yes, can't really complain right nowI'm enjoying this year , and apprehensive obviously about the next . Just back from the gym .
Love the look of the boiler room now. Having said that, my bedroom is a tip at the momnent . Will get cracking on that later . So far so good ..
This time last year, I was still on edge with just about everything .0 -
Friend came down last sat ( couldn't stay over as has lots going on ) .
He likes the flat. Myself , him and my other friend ( we all know each other) had a good day at the pub up the road . A nice day .
A few home truths to mention :
On Tuesday I had an appointment to see the specialist in st. Thomas hospital regarding my myasthenia gravis . Waited over 3 hours to see him for basically a 7 or 8 minute checkup . Soul destroying is being polite . The Dr. Had so much work in front of him , and was mostly looking at the screen . He was obviously apologetic . He has done so many good things with me, and only made 1 mistake last year.
Anyway, we both acknowledged that I am massively overweight .
He did understand why I just stopped . To make things more brief
The sooner I lose the weight, the sooner I can come off the prednisolone and blood tablets.
Now it's down to me to put everything right .
When living alone it's easy to be non plus/ carefree / careless about what I'm eating / how much / not bothered etc.
I've always eaten way too much chocolate . Not sweets , just chocolate. However, yesterday I've started to reduce and change that
and will stick to a new way to handle this . I've decided to ditch the snickers / green and blacks / kit Kats etc . In their place I've just got some after 8's! The idea is to have only a couple a day ...nothing else chocolate wise! I'll see how that goes .
Lucozade has been ditched for ever! Haven't touched any for 3 weeks
Never again ! Regarding orange juice : I should only have a glass in the morning . Not last thing at night ! The sugar craving is being reduced as I speak .
Oh, I've had a few crisp binges in the last month also.
No more !
As you can see, I'm very angry:rotfl:
I've also been too lazy and have started going on walks around the area. The idea is to go to the gym obviously. However, instead of leaving it there , I need to get out more and the weight will come off eventually.
Oh, the cider... Obviously I will still go out and have one or 2 with my friend etc. I will now be going on half pints to start off with.
I'm not really a pint drinker . Only when a place is busy and it's a hot day etc.
If I do this much , then I should get some positive results by Christmas .
So that's the home truths out of the way :rotfl:
Which leads to a pleasant surprise and a dilemma regarding putting some spare cash away:
I have an extra £7-10 k that I would like to take from my accounts at nationwide and use them as a buffer /emergency etc.
The thing is , I need to avoid : Santander / Barclays / rbs/
Also someone that doesn't frown when they realise I'm not working and am technically on a dmp( if for example I was in one of those banks I've listed, they could still help themselves to the cash invested if the bank is related to those ).
Any advice is always welcome :rotfl:
Regarding my unemployment and fitness, it's obvious that I won't succeed in anything unless I start getting results asap and by Easter .
Fat boy fat will not be employable in his current state. The party's over.0 -
I thought you had cleared your DMP now AC? Is it because they accepted full and finals which were short of actual amount? What about TSB or Tesco?
Re the weight thing - I am sure that your poor diet was not a surprise. After all many of us have been saying that for a while. Lucozade, chocolate, pastries, fish and chips are all high fat, high cholesterol which is not good for you. Do you like any fruit, veg or salad? Smaller portions are definitely the way to go and as much exercise as you can.
I find porridge in the morning fills me up done in the microwave with a handful of blueberries. Lunch is sandwich and a piece of fruit and a balanced meal in the evening. I have also stopped drinking wine. Cider is actually worse than beer for putting on weight. Crisps are also high in fat and high in salt so no goodness in them at all. Sounds pretty boring doesn't it but I console myself that a stroke or heart attack is not worth the cake or chocolate I would love to indulge in all the time but can't. I don't buy unhealthy stuff but have the odd treat if we go out.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
