Flagging this one up as an indication of "how not to fill out the Court paperwork".

Maybe CM could put a 'How Not To .....' sub-section into the NEWBIES sticky with the links to the threads you've just highlighted?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Can you please explain which parts?

The original comment was 7 months on.

I was just wondering for future incidents. No worries if you were just replying to archived user.

At the time I would have recalled the context, but 11 months on (from my comment), I would have input around 4 thousand further posts to other threads in that time. Hard to remember everything, and what might have been relevant then, is likely to have been superseded by one thing or another, in the fast moving world of private parking!

After emailing the judge the ruling was put aside, I contacted Gladstones and ask that they pay me the money back.

I then forgot about it due to moving house and job and believed it was in their hands. I have recently emailed the county court asking if the case was still open and received this reply:

The judgment registered against you was set aside and is no longer valid. You have since paid the judgment the case is closed.

Is there any use in opening a small claim for this money? I received no word about the case being closed before I chased this up (and I had mail forwarding). I also made it clear in letters to Gladstone that I wanted the money back after it had been set aside. Letter was sent 20/02/2018

Your situation is now far removed from anything to do with parking.
