So what looks to be an overall very positive update...and you want to rage and move to mint? Good job, well thought out arguments.0

You have to love the haters......They will moan and complain about anything, so, not much point in taking any notice.
Some nice improvements coming, I like the changes to the start menu. The settings changes make sense as does the different choices in the update section.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

It may be a rage because the last major update (The Anniversary Update) broke a load of webcams - not directly but due to the way most of them worked. The big updates usually tend to break something, time will tell if this one breaks something.
But anyway, I've followed this since it was first announced. Looks good.0 -
I'm still on Windows 7, I wouldn't touch Windows 10 because it's not safe. I don't know what I'll use when Windows 7 support is discontinued. Linux is unusable as an OS.0

Linux is unusable as an OS.
a) perhaps look into O&O's oddly-named ShutUp10 utility
b) Windows 10, unless you move across to Linux
c) oh, well, that's it, then.
When making absolute and categorical statements, it always helps to provide a little evidence for your point of view.0 -

Well, the chap in one of the videos described something as "incredibly awesome", which must mean it is really good.
Meanwhile, have they got glass effects for windows borders yet?0 -
Can you share with us where you go for your tin foil hats, if what you say is true we'll all need one soon?
It's not really a secret, any more than the secret that Linux doesn't work as a consumer OS. If you go to YouTube, you'll find several "black hat" videos about the security issues peculiar to Windows 10, but the major exploit is the in-your-face EULA that basically says "tick this box to sell your soul to Bill Gates". All Window OS's since Windows 95 have been produced in cooperation with the CIA, Windows 10 is just the "on steroids" version that lets them legally invade your computer.
Also, you might want to see if your CPU is infected with a built-in backdoor mini-os. It's the future of Intel and AMD.0
