It's pretty clear they don't care about the facts, just the fact that I was fired and that to stand any chance I have to lie about it which is unethical. They won't think about what I have learnt from it even if I explain what I have learnt, they will just question why I was fired if I achieved those things.
I had a phone interview before where as soon as you tell someone you had been dismissed they just want to hang up. There are no second chances.
Looks like I have to erase the experience from the CV and look for roles that require very minimal experience. (e.g. factory worker)
Also, I am looking into legal action regarding my contract. I know the falling out has effectively !!!!ed up my career anyway so I have no other choice, it might work out.
Young people make mistakes in jobs all the time it is how you come out the other side.
You convert the lessons into positives about the work environment.
your response to what you learnt was.To be more understanding with people and not get frustrated , they may have more pressing matters to attend to even though your department's work may seem like the most important thing in the world to me
have you thought about what might be wrong with that statement and why it won't help?0 -
I disagree. Many in this thread have tried to troll me and bait me, like people do on other threads. The moderators really need to get a handle on who is just out to insult someone and who actually helps.
Many on this thread have tried to advise you about what is currently holding you back. You posted looking for help, and people with much more experience (of work and life) have given that. It is not their problem that you are too arrogant to see that.
BB have not ruined your career. You are young and can still make a success of your life - but lose the attitude or you won't get anywhere.0
